After Desura, ShinyLoot, DotEmu, and one or two more I forget, my bet is that IndieGameStand will be next... :(

PixelBoy: The sentence which originally said
"We are aiming to be back up and running in the first quarter in 2017. We are building an all new platform for our websites, to better serve you."
now says
"We are aiming to be back up and running in the second quarter of 2017. We are building an all new platform for our websites, to better serve you."

(emphasis added)
2017's second quarter is 11 days away of finishing. Will we be for a nice surprise before the end of the month, or will they just replace "second" with "third" and be done with it?
I'm strongly skeptical that Desura will ever return in any form, and if it does I'm skeptical that everyone will get their games back or be able to redeem old Desura codes. It just seems very unlikely, or at absolute best - very pie-in-the-sky wishful-thinking on both sides of the equation.

Promises are cheap, but meaningless without agency and execution.
Yeah, I think Oneplay basically bought the husk of Desura for peanuts so they could use it for marketing their existing services. Doesn't really look like they intend to do anything with it but I'd love to be proven wrong.

And we can solve this riddle: They just changed it to "third" quarter.

Hah! I should become a seer. xD
I was moderately enthusiastic for Desura back in the day but it quickly went downhill. The only major game I owned on it was Xenonauts, and I was able to get that back by contacting the company on their forums. The reps were awesome, I sent them proof of pre-purchase on Desura (I save all important emails) and they gave me a key for the game on GOG. Great support, thanks.
Well, it seems like OnePlay is the latest casualty of the key reseller apocalypse - the website barely works, returns an "Internal Server Error" when switching languages, the desura.com page is also now non-functional, people reporting that they can't reach a human being at the company...

To quote Hot Shots: Part Deux: Now we have to go in to get the men who went in to get the men who went in to get the men.

Great... :\

However oneplay.com seems to work fine for me (desura.com is returning a 404, though).

Same for me.
I bought a handful of games from Desura. It was the only place where you could buy a DRM-free copy of Hatred.
Now the old Desura page is up again. Of course you can't login and there are no games. What's going on???

Edit: And it's gone again.

It's one of those days ;-)
Desura is trolling so bad!!!
I still have all their BK docs. I wonder whatever happened to the assets.
