Subject to change
The game is still in early access as far as I know. I hope somethings will improve and I hope the developers will stop trying to play against the players, but so far it is highly entertaining and I always pull a playthrough when they release a new update.

extremely long and detailed
the concept is cool, and the game works, but campains are extremely long, mainly because you get bogged down in details that mattered at some point in the game but does not any longer. For example, when you have bases around the moons of jupiter making more resources than all of earth, do you care about domestic politics in brazil?

Extremely detailed, but hard to manage
The game is one of the most detailed strategy games I've ever played, but it lacks som QoL that could make it better. For example, it can be hard to understand where resources are coming from. Additionally, it is hard to get a good overview of different nations' outputs, and even harder to understand how to improve them. Due to the nature of the game, it can be easy to "play yourself into a corner" where you lack resources but have no easy way to improve output.

Great if you love very complex games
This game is basically X-COM meets Victoria meets War in the Pacific...and I absolutely love it! Now, I am a guy who absolutely loves super complex strategy games like Aurora 4X, War in the Pacific or Rule the Waves and if those kind of games are right up your alley you will love TI. If, on the other hand, you prefere somewhat lighter strategy games, you might want to first wath a YT lets-play or three befor buying it.

A game like no other
This is a game like no other, at the time of writing this review it's still on Early Access, but a lot more polished than it was at 2022 when it first "released". There's still a few rough edges and development is slow. That said. This is a very deep and unforgiving strategy game, it will let you delve into a very deep and complex research tree, pretty realistic space physics and it will let you screw yourself without warning until you hit a wall 2 years laters. It's not for the casual strategy gamer, but if you are truly a fan of straegy games this will provide hundreds of hours of entertainment.
