Unplayable game

The game seems to work, but no matter how far I turn my mouse sensitivity down the game just runs so fast I can't lock in on and shoot the enemies. The short range weapons don't help either. Everything just goes too fast, and maybe I'm personally bad at the game, but I've played space shooters before and this one is just either way to fast-paced or it isn't tuned to modern hardware. Either way, playing a fighter arcade where you can't hit anything isn't a fun or good experience.

haven't gotten 2 far but yeah....

It's a pretty cool idea and should be fun to play but the whole "Dark Souls" angle isn't an excuse for enemies to be able to stand inside you and drain your health while being unable to be shot. Melee would if your gun heats up but there wasn't enough heat, time, or melee damage to kill this creature before it frog hitbox'd me like Noita but without movement being a factor. Gonna look for patches or mods that keep enemies from standing inside you. It's not really fun having to replay some of these more empty sections twice because I don't know where these types of enemies are as it is my first time with the game.

Not NMS

The game as it is is quite fun and enjoyable, the game as it could be is amazing. Thats about what I have to say in a nutshell. It's like a combination of the elements from risk of rain and FTL got busy with the controlls from star conflict. This game will leave you satisfied untill you inevaeatably reach the end of the current content and begin waiting for more. Sure the game has a few glitches here and there and it could use some more weapons and items here and there but its going places (we hope). I'm not sure its a good idea to buy it before its finished though, tha kind of takes away incentive for the devs to finish it.

Fun game, but repetitive

This is a fantastic space sim and the most fun I've had in a space game since Earth and Beyond. The game is very challenging, the controls feel great, the graphics are phenomenal, and the audio is right on point. The perks system gives you a reason to keep playing after you die, because you can increase your ship/pilot stats between runs. My biggest gripe with the game is that it gets very repetitive. This is a rogue-like game, so that's really the nature of the way these kind of games work, but there are other rogue-likes that do a better job at increasing replayability (like Binding of Isaac for example). This game is still in development, so I'll be excited to see where they take it. I'd really like to see some more mechanics that can help vary up the runs (such as more available starting weapons, devices, ships, etc). Keep up the great work dev team!

Was a great game, now just a game.

This game is all about fast-paced action and exciting space-avdentures fighting mysterious aliens and other possibly humans and blowing things up and being blown up and doing it all over again. Except that isn't true any more. Now the action is broken up by a badly-written, completely out of place story that seems like it was written for another game entirely and they just crammed it in there to try to explain why you have infinite lives. This game was easily one of the best games I've played in a long time until the released it with the stupid, weak and generic story that you cannot skip at any time and every 4 minutes you are forced to sit through some bad poetry (and some decent artwork but it's still forced and doesn't fit the aesthetics of the game) before being allowed to continue your adventure. If they added an option to skip cutscenes or the story entirely I would give it 5 stars but at the moment it is barely worth 3 stars because of the forced and rubbish story that really doesn't even need to exist.
