在这款设定在反乌托邦世界的传统等视角RPG游戏中，玩家将对抗敌人，探索危机四伏的废土，提升角色能力，并在发生可怕变故后与世隔绝的穹顶之内选择自己的归宿。
在克洛诺斯的五个部门之间做出抉择：不同部门将会玩家提供独一无二的遭遇，游戏机制以及选择。
深入穹顶之下，踏上注定有来无回的冒险之旅。躲避辐射与异象点，对抗变异生物并搜寻独特工艺品。
从游戏开始时的一名平淡无奇的公司雇员逐渐蜕变为叱咤风云的关键人物，你的所作所为与改变所有人命运的灾难性“事故”之间存在着千丝万缕的联系。
熟悉基础设定之后，你就能立即遨游自由与危险并存的广袤开放世界。旧世界的秩序已经灰飞烟灭，五个举足轻重的派系掌管着新生的废土。拉帮结派，或者独行上路。力挽狂澜，改变穹顶以及身处其内的居民们的命运，或者开辟一条只属于自己的道路。
对抗敌人的方式不仅仅只有武力：拥有一条三寸不烂之舌必能让你左右逢源。魅力不够？贿赂来凑！作为一款侧重剧情的游戏，《Encased》中的每一项任务都存在着大相径庭的完成方式，根据自身属性以及不同选择，你将能够达成各式各样的结局。无论你是个残暴的杀人狂，或者是和平主义者，亦或是两者之间的存在，游戏都将对你的游戏风格做出回应。
打造只属于自己的独特角色：想要专精于隐匿，近战，狙击步枪，灵能或者是口才？想要成为团队领袖或者一名独行侠？还是说想要做一回脑残英雄？一切的都看你的选择。
在冒险之旅中领悟多达数十种宝贵技能：黑客破解，工程技术，扒窃甚至是驾驶无所不有。通过研究遗物揭露穹顶之下的神秘科技，在探索广袤世界的过程中发现全新地点，异象以及各类敌人。但是请务必小心，你要对付的可不光是人类。
做出艰难抉择：偷窃，暗杀或者是帮助他人都将导致不一样的后果。专心培养自己在某一个派系中的声誉，或者尝试做一个八面玲珑的人，但是要记住，有时候鱼和熊掌不可兼得。
修理与制造：铸造高科技动力装甲服，打造并升级独一无二的神兵利器。要是肚子饿了，烧点小菜充饥也未尝不可。毕竟人是铁饭是钢，一顿不吃饿得慌。

Encased can suck you into it for dozens of hours for exploration and complex, difficult battles with various tactics but also leave you frustrated with the way it approaches the story and characters.

Very exciting to see final release!
As a person who grew up playing Fallout 1,2 & Baldurs Gate - this feels like a refreshing spin off of those games. A lot of reading - but immersive good writing & turn-based combat. I am about 4 hours in and am really enjoying this. Some small things like ladder-climbing animations are missing, but this game is fantastic.

not a very good game so far
i know its still in development and its not a complete game yet, but still most of the elements in this game are just not good, there is not a lot of depth to the game compared to titles like pillars of eternity 1 and 2, or underrail which is an absolute masterpiece.. the game is simply not satisfying. the dialogue is childish and cringy, they dont do a very good job creating a world through language, much else explainig the world they are trying to convey. the combat is awful, if you didnt pick the black wing then forget about having a chance at survival in this game.. i have my doubts about the psionic build they have tried to introduce. the game seems to have some amount of potential, and i do hope they are able to succed, but for now stay as far away from this game as possible...especially for the price theyre asking(which will increase) for a non AAA unfinished indie title.

Extremely competent and a joy to play.
I'm only about 2 hours into the game so far and I am absolutely falling in love with it. The quests and interactions for the most part far outdo the majority of modern AAA RPGs that have been coming out over the last 10 - 20 years. So long as development continues with this level of competence throughout early access and into full-release we might have the best RPG of the decade or possibly even the century in our hands. Highly recommend to any fan of isometric cRPGs with lots of depth, interesting character interactions and a real feel of impact and player agency. I hope this game sells really well so that the developers are able to continue to give this game their all. This is truly a genuinely welcome surprise.
