Fills my isometric rpg with guns need. Its not as great as some of the other gameplay wise but has a great story no romance companions kinda suck so far I dont like the way armor works but its aight
not far in but the basic gameplay, combat, skill tree, etc... are all pretty solid. if you like the old fallouts and wasteland games, you'll probobly like this too.
If you don't like having to restart characters and potentially lose you progress just hold off for now. After 5+ hrs of game play I can honestly say I look forward to all the updates to come. They will flesh out the amazing bones under this games surface. The developers are actually responding to users on their Discord server that is dedicated to this game. You can't even dream of that kind of support and openness for a AAA game developer. I'm cautiously optimistic as I've been burned before however I will update my review in the future accordingly. All I can say is as long as the developers keep the Discord communication lively and constructive, they should be on the right track. Obviously, they would rather be coding but they are pretty great at chiming in throughout the day to guide users along. It's amazing to have a developer confirm a game breaking glitch instead of me wondering when or if it will be patched. They will come right out and tell you if it's on the pile and when they will be getting to it. It's a small organic community behind the game is flooding them with bug reports that will help polish the game up for future users. I'm enjoying the graphical style and game play so much I can't wait to turn this into a 5-star review upon completion. I feel like this studio has the chops to pull off an underdog hit. Even more exciting I hope this leads to future releases using this game engine.
Story and gameplay stand on very high level. Enjoyed the game thoroughly and I'll definitely go for a another playthrough with different charachter build.
The game, unfortunately, lacks on Linux, where game crashes very often even with low graphics settings. I had to install Windows version in Wine to be able to play in Ultra settings without crashes.
-1 star if you're not a massive fan of this genre. For a small studio venture this is a surprisingly competent game, with less bugs than some AAA titles. None of the plot turns veer too far from predictable cliche, and as other reviewers have said it starts out strong but clearly ran out of money / time by the end. And you better enjoy playing a psionic stealth ninja, because that's the best build by far, and you best enjoy clicking on and opening every container, because that's the best way to get XP. But if you love this genre, you will absolutely have some fun.
