AMID EVIL

I'd definitely buy Amid Evil 2

The game can bring a real challenge to a player with many types of enemies and each being more vulnerable to different types of weapons based on mana they use makes the weapons all have their uses though I don't find myself using the axe that much. The level design along with the music is something I really love about this game. I have not totally beaten the game yet as I play a couple stages to 1 level in sitting. It feels casual while being reminicent to those old shooter days where we were sweaty try hards. While its easy to just sit back and shoot enemies from a distance that ain't part of the fun. It is the fast movement trying to get enemies to kill eachother while bouncing around shooting flailing like a moron. I do wish there was b-hopping or some way of acheiving high speeds as well as better "rocket" jumping. Still very worth the money

Project Warlock

Bringing back memories and gameplay

Its like playing my old 2d shooters when I was a kid and young teen. Comparing the two makes the older games look far more dated and thats okay because when we were young those games were far easier to pick out details and play it properly. Since we are so spoiled with other games there needed to be far mroe detail in Project warlock and I think they did a pretty decent job of filling up the wolrd, making nice mobs to fight with really fun guns and spells to wreck my enemies with. The only complaint, well not so much a complaint or it might even be somewhat of a compliment. The only way the game has stutered a bit is when there weas ~15 enemies and I'm just spraying with the nail gun. Even then you need things breaking and an explosion. The first level set isn't that great and it took me three seatings to beat meanwhile the next 2 or 3 I beat in one sitting due to having a bigger arsenel and the maps being a little more puzzle like 4.5/5 but you can't seem to give halves

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

Feels like a mobile game

While there is a story and not a bad one at that. The gameplay is pretty lackluster. I knew from the beggining that this was a card game of sorts which doesn't usually tickle my fancy, but since it is a game which has a story based on the witcher universe I thought that I could play the game just for the story. Sure you can skip the card stuff, but then all you are doing is clicking along to a very expensive visual novel. I can honestly only reccomend this game if it was 15 bucks or less.
