Island of Penance

It's not bad, but it's not for me

This game gave me Karryn's Prison vibes so I came in expecting a moral corruption/mindbreak focused game and oh boy was a right to expect that. Even coming in fully prepared, this ended up being way too depressing for me. The best way I can describe this game is if you were to take the most cruel/sadistic scenes from Evenicle, remove the light-hearted elements and make an entire rpgmaker game out of that, this is what you would get. The story is linear so there's no altering the course of events which is good in a sense cause I tend to get the good endings in these sorts of games then never revisit them which means I lose out on most of the H content. As far as gameplay goes, it's your standard turn based rpgmaker game. You explore small dungeons, fight monsters using this elemental resistance system, rinse and repeat. It's mediocre and can get quite grindy towards mid-game. The only interesting part of the gameplay is the battle H system which seems to be a staple in OneOne1 games. The H scenes are well drawn and voice acted but there a bit on the extreme side with a focus on humiliation, mindbreak, monster, birth and gang r*pe. The story is relentlessly depressing and cruel. You play Illumnia, the daughter of the scientist that reintroduced magic to the world but mysteriously died on prison island. You decide to become a guard to find out what happened to him. Within minutes of stepping on the island as a guard you're drugged, gang r*ped then have a "crest" put on your genitals which prevents you from wearing clothes for the rest of your life. The rest of the game is more or less just a series of increasingly cruel abuses and torture you're subjected to and your character lamenting how hellish her existence has become and praying for death. This continues to the end of the game and the arc with your father doesn't really go anywhere. If you're a fan of more bleak/extreme depictions of mindbreak this might scratch your itch, but I just found it depressing.

The Genesis Order

Milfy Paranormal Mystery

This is the third game in the "Lust Epidemic series". It's really quite similar to Treasure of Nadia in that you explore a city collecting items, solving puzzles and getting laid. Some things are done better in this game, others worse, but if you liked ToN you'll like this too. Story: You play a very nosy and egotistical detective tasked with investigating a murder that happened at the Wilkes mansion. Like the previous games what starts out as a pretty normal story quickly turns into a grand conspiracy and paranormal "drama". They really cranked up the paranormal aspect to 11 for this one with most of the story focusing on cults, religion and demons. The story is fine. It's no better than ToN but it's also not worse. Gameplay: It's a point and click puzzle game. You'll spend most of your time finding hidden items and figuring out how to use them. When you're not doing that you'll be in a dialogue sequence, sex scene or solving puzzles. The dialogue can be rather annoying at times with some of the conversations being inane and long winded but it's mostly fun and the characters are endearing. CG/H-Content: It's very well done. Most of the content revolves around MILFS and orgies, much like the last game. The animations are better this time around and they seem to have mostly fixed the issue with the girls orgasm faces being off-putting. In the previous games it looked like they aged 30 years at the moment of climax which was rather amusing. This does suffer quite heavily from "porn logic" with characters acting irrationally, having sex at inappropriate times and immediately regretting it or getting in trouble somehow. Bugs: Wrong bust-ups displayed at times ( Amanda was displayed instead of Nellie ). Moans and stuff in sex scenes overlap and loop way too quickly. Post game Hannah content triggered in the barn before it should have. Summary: It's a good porn game. More ToN but a bit more polished. It's quite long and worth the asking price.

Living With Sister: Monochrome Fantasy

Cute time management game

This game is horribly mislabeled. I picked this up ages ago but didn't play it initially because it had the label "Psychological Horror" which I had assumed meant the game would contain yandere and gore. This is not at all the case. Instead it's a cutsie time management/slice of life game. Plot: You play a siscon who's father left to go out on adventures and left you at home to look after your sickly sister. While you're looking after her you work with the Adventurers guild and must beat "the eight" to keep the local guild open and continue chasing your dream of being an adventurer and finding a cure to your sisters illness. Gameplay: During the day you work the guild and take on quests or training. Quests give you money and stat increases, training gives you stat increases. Every few days you'll have a guild battle that, if you lose, leads to a gameover. During the weekends you can go into town to buy supplies, go on an adventure to get to the world tree with your sister or clean the house. At night you interact with your sister to boost her various stats and assuming your lust ( and her trust and interest ) is high enough you can have sex with her. The sex stuff is largely just molesting your sister while she's asleep without waking her up. Art/H-content: The art is cute and the h scenes/animations are well done. H-content primarily consists of cest, sleep rape and plain old vanilla. What I wish I knew earlier: The alchemy tab is how you use items. If you complete the adventure to the tree you'll get a missable story beat that makes it impossible to get the pregnancy early ending. 70 lust (mc) and 50 lust (sister) unlocks consensual sex that day. The feathered bed regains significantly more energy and should be purchased as soon as possible. The Grand Adventure after you reach the tree appears to lead to some sort of virgin ending ( I'm not sure ). In all I really liked this game and recommend it. There's enough content to warrant the $12 price tag.

Duel Princess

Ecchi tower defense

This is a tower defense/deck builder game with light erotic elements. If you saw the NSFW tag and came into the game expecting h-content then you'll be disappointed, it's not that type of game. In all I think the game is pretty good but not great. It does get tedious after a while and the rogue-lite and deck building elements are half-baked. + Game performs well. I didn't run into stuttering or freezing during my time playing this. + Characters are likable. The stories I got through are more or less variants of one another ( princess goes out to collect the seals from the other princesses through conquest and makes friends with them ). Each character has their own quirks and motivations. + Art is very well done and the little sprites on the battlefield are unique. - The deck building is pretty bare bones and I've found the trick to succeeding is to have two of every card ( if two of the same card appears in your deck you can override creating a more powerful version ) and try to have an equal number of lance, combat and archer cards on stage at any given time. - The eroge elements are boring. You gain a crest by punishing the princess that lost. This consists of using the punishment cards you've unlocked to sexually torture them while they undulate around in their underwear. It gets boring quickly and there is no reason to max the hearts. All it offers is money and some additional exp. Money is largely useless though. - Progression largely happens through leveling up the princess and repeatedly completing story lines. The princess level effects the health of their castle. The profile level effects the base level of your cards and how many turns/items you have in the punishment section. Like I said, it's a decent game. It's easy, gets tedious quickly and you shouldn't come into this with the expectation full blown h-scenes. As far as NSFW goes it's more like Huniepop ( a bit tamer than that even ) and less like Wish.

Brave Alchemist Colette

More Treasure Hunter Claire

Brave Alchemist is more or less just THC with a different cast of characters. In essence you play an "alcumist" who uses seed as a catalyst for alchemy. After a strange meeting your master had you both end up moving to the city where the rest of the story picks up ( demon lord stuff is all I'll say story-wise ). Gameplay: It's an HRPG. You can use sex attacks to drain enemy MP and put them into a bliss state which allows 4 free attacks on them. Enemies will do the same to you. As you unlock new outfits and lower your shame ( or raise the affection of party members ) you can swap outfits to something lewder which grants massive stat bonuses. Use exp to level up and sem*n to craft items and upgrade gear. It's not particularly complex but it's engaging enough to keep you going. At least for a while. Like THC there's a selection of party members you can choose from, each with their own skill sets. H-Content/Art - Extremely well done but it gets repetitive really quickly. A lot of the same poses are repeated and their isn't much variety in position(s) or content. Most of what I encountered was generic poses/scenes. This is especially bad for the Colette character. Biggest change comes from the dialogue but the dialogue often just consists of your character moaning and announcing they're about to cum. After a while I just started skipping scenes that used the generic poses/silhouettes. Content mostly revolves around monster and r*pe. Conclusion: There's a lot to do in this game. Took me about 8 hours to 100% it. Unfortunately towards the middle of the game it starts to feel grindy, especially if you're trying to unlock the fetishes and do all the missions. Their isn't enough variation in the h content or gameplay to keep the game interesting for as long as they expect you to play it. This is really my only complaint. Outside of that I thought this was really well done and had fun playing it.

Under the Witch

Doesn't feel like a complete game

I want to start by saying the 3D models are fantastic and well animated for the most part. Everything else though... Gameplay: This entire game is just a couple boss battles. Episode 0 is a battle with some witch. You're expected to lose at which point you'll get a CG/game over screen, some experience, items and then the option to redo the battle. You just repeat this process over and over again until you eventually win at which point the episode is over. Episode 1 has you running around collecting items so they can be sold to some witch in the hills. You use the money to buy armor, weapons and potions. All of the equipment you buy will be used to defeat your sister ( the second boss battle ). This adds additional mechanics like just-dodge and just-attack which will negate and increase damage respectively. You are once again expected to lose ( exp and level doesn't carry over from episode 0 ) at which point you get a CG. Apparently you can fish but I never figured out how to do that. Like episode 0, as soon as you beat your sister the episode ends. This feels closer to a complete game since there are more scenes and you have the ability to explore your environment ( though it's quite limited and there isn't much to do ). Story: You're a hero with impulse control issues and a humiliation fetish that's off to fight well endowed witches. There isn't much to talk about here. You're a manlet that's weak starting out and must defeat a series of very tall, thicc girls. Art/CG: Like I said, it's very well animated and I like the models. The girls are thick, the expressions are well done and the scenes, while not for me, are well animated. That said, the models have an issue with their hair and breasts flying everywhere anytime the camera shifts. Fetishes: It's a femdom game with a heavy emphasis on feet. A lot of foot sucking, genital stomping etc. Additionally there is (pet/slave)play, smell stuff, a lot of face-sitting/human furniture, golden shower, dirty talk, etc.

Ambrosia

Solid game and worth the price

I've reviewed this game already on steam. Because I can't just copy-paste the steam review over here I'm going to link to my full review and give a TLDR here. Steam review: https://steamcommunity.com/id/TrueCorruptedSoul/recommended/1078350/ TLDR: I like this game. It's all around very solid especially when compared to other games kagura has published. The writing is good and doesn't take itself too seriously, the h-scenes are well done, the gameplay is more engaging than many of the other hrpgs I've played and you aren't railroaded into a collection of bad endings ( though you can practically smell the games disappointment when you choose not to corrupt the character ). I'd recommend picking this up if you're looking for a decent hrpg. Just be warned that like most other hrpgs the h-content in this game primarily revolves around moral corruption, r*pe and blackmail.

Eris Dysnomia

Fun but short

This is a fun little side scrolling beat-em-up game with H. You play Eris. A very THICC girl on a quest to kill some succubus or something. There isn't too much in the way of story here and the gameplay boils down to fighting your way through five stages. If you get into a bad situation ( keep getting knocked over or grabbed ) then you can trigger your style change which will do a number of things. 1.) Reduce lust/heat buildup 2.) Break you out of any hold or status you're under 3.) Give you a gun or scythe 4.) Give you a new set of attacks depending on whether you selected the gun or scythe It's a cool mechanic and works well. The H content is good. It mostly involves the character getting SH'd or NC'd by enemies and the more that happens the more your character starts to enjoy it. Pretty varied as far as fetishes go but a lot of them seem kind of similar to each other and the animations for each stage of a scene ( foreplay, insertion, orgasm, etc ) lasts way too long. Eventually if you get enough of these scenes you'll unlock fetishes which will weaken you to certain types of H attacks, open up sex skills, change your dialogue and generally make the game harder. If you unlock all of them it's more or less a game over as everything will send you into heat ( which makes your character slow and weak ), the heat gauge doesn't seem to go down and you just get caught in a loop of screwing or mast*rbating until you quit. I had fun with this. I liked the character design and the combat was serviceable. My biggest complaint is that the game is short and as others have mentioned, feels incomplete.
