Akimbot

Ratchet & Clank

Fun game, reminds me of playing ratchet & clank, going back to the ps2 era of gaming. That aside, the graphics are okay for what it is. The combat is pretty much straffing but on hard mode (dodging left/right last minute movements) as the enemies have aim bot where they hit perfectly otherwise. The weapons leave much to be desired, and the limited upgrade path makes me wonder, but for what its worth, its like a breath of fresh air regarding the current generation of games. Being voiced is a major plus too. Was able to introduce the game to my kiddos

Wet Nightmares

Enchanting story

Title says it all. Problem is, the game isnt complete so were left at a major cliff hanger. Wait on buying this till its complete otherwise you might be a bit upset. That said the story is actually horror driven and fairly good so far. Found im reading it more for the story than the hentai, so hope to find it completed before end of 2025

House Party

Buyer Beware

Buyer beware, So the sandbox mode isn't what it claims to be. What is also unmentioned is YOU need to be tied up in the devs MANDATORY DRM platform to even download content, i didn't see alternative locations to download. So may want to skip this. Also, the movement is nauseating enough that playing for a few minutes can induce literal vomiting. All that negatitivty aside, i think it would be a fun game assuming i can get past the gripes already mentioned, if you can, more power to you. As for sandbox mode and other proclaimed features, this games more about story building and then "fun" vs a quick hit it n quit it sorta game play.

P.A.M.E.L.A.®

Game Its truly a horror survival

The story really gets you. But what really makes it fun, is the never ending strife. You think your good? Oh... no no no, it gets "better". For the record theres alot of hidden gems in this game, including how to play, survive, and farm (as well as the story thats lead through finding all the audios). I personally have revisted this game numerous times over the years because of this. With its 1.x release, it definitely feels complete (although i do wish for more things like robot hacking) but... alas not in the cards, or is it? Anyway, if you like games like "The surge" or anything with survival element and actual struggle, this is your game. Theres alot to learn from building up to actual equipment management, inventory management (which fyi is upgradeable ALBIET PITA), but alot of fun non the less. Check it out!

Alien Breed: Impact

No multiplayer

They neutered this version, from its steam counter part. All the 3 games, have multiplayer, you can tell they removed that, i thought they'd mention they removed it here on GOG but they don't. That said, the game is alot of fun WHEN you have a friend to play with, the problem is this gog release doesn't have that so your better off looking at the STEAM build of this game, since multiplayer is present, and you can actually enjoy it together vs solo.

Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiance

Terminator RTS fans this maybe it!

This is the game we've been waiting for. The only quip is, the launcher that reaches out to the web, not a fan of questionable things advertising or not. Otherwise, its a great game. Also, for the saving issue. Win11 and Win10 interpret the saves as malicious, when they are not, as its apart of ransomware protection/folder protection, you'll need to manually whitelist the trm.exe process. Web helper is suspicious though. Otherwise, its alot of fun. I played on Realistic, as it made the game actually fun (just like starship troopers terran command), but the losses were brutal, and the strategy and foresight to play (if you just steamrolled and didn't continually restart) was rough. Also, falsely advertised as DRM free, but it enforces a external login system, and platform for multiplayer, which completely neuters the ability to play this game mutliplayer wise in a CLOSED LAN environment. Quite concerning that GOG allows games to advertise as truly DRM free when they package DRM components into the product.

Space Haven

Fun Highly addictive gameplay

A 5 star, really a 4.9 because there is always room for improvement. Anyway onto the pros and cons Pros: - Active development - Successfully kickstarter funded - Constantly adding new features - Hours of content - Addictive for space sims (and exploration/management of fleets/resources) - Lots of "lore" and story telling (you can build your own story if you want its really cool) - Can specify your starting points, or what you begin with - Dev/infinity mode, just build whatever no cost or anything and throw whatever scenario you want at yourself or to create, can go wild. - Fleet combat (FTL But more depth) - Crew combat (boarding ships, being boarded) - Trading management (economy), which you CAN influence - Soon to be base building (Asteroids? Im hoping more folks will push the space station building aspects so we can have mobile stations we command in addition to pushing fleet ship mission assigning) Cons: - Addictive (Might need to learn when to take a break lost a entire 8hrs!) - Still in development, plus or minus depending on how you look at it - No multiplayer (not good or bad, but i'd like to see it), in this game it would be chaotic There's alot i'd like to add, when newer updates come out, but given how GOG sabotages reviews by limiting your ability to review only 1x per game, my review is as honest and current as of alpha 15 of the game.
