If you die, you lose everything you took on the mission.
If you survive, you keep everything you looted.
No exceptions. No excuses. No mercy.

Nothing in this Endless Space is belongs to you.

Far into the future, the space itself is privatized. Corporations actively seize control of the Solar System and trying to extend their reach far beyond its boundaries. It will be up to you to uncover the truth and the unforgivable things humanity has committed in the deep, dark depths of space

Level the playing field. At any cost.

Become the boss of your own Private Military Company: carry out orders from corporations, earn reputation with your blood and sweat. Explore planetary bases, secret labs, and wreckage of spaceships to find new technologies, abilities, and other items that will help you level the playing field during operations.

Overcome, adapt and become better.

Remember that you have an advantage: clone the best employees and send them to certain death to probe the weaknesses of your opponents. There is no need to risk valuable human assets and expose your PMC to unnecessary legal risks, but nobody cares about the fate of a clones.

Unravel the mystery of Quasimorphosis.

A strange disease is spreading on space stations. Crew members are getting sick with an unknown fever, and the rifts are opening the way to demons from Bramphatur to our dimension. Don't bury yourself under crossfire.

Corporations hire ruthless mercenaries to carry out their shadow operations. Demons distort human nature and pervert human evolution. Gather a team of professionals, count your ammo, and keep track of your equipment to be prepared for any perversions of this space slaughter.

Extraction RPG Roguelike 10/10

Quasimorph is an old-school graphical roguelike with guns and blades instead of magic and swords. If you like the concept of high risk and reward extraction shooters, wanting a single player game capturing that essence this is the game for you. You'll be in charge of a PMC group that creates clones and sends them on missions across planets in our solar system. You'll travel planet to planet taking missions for corporations that all seem to have their own goals and warring over territory. You keep all your loot if you can survive the mission objectives, if you die you lose all the loot you brought and found. Chips that unlock production items, things like better backpacks (more inventory space) and food types, can be found while you're on a mission. If you find a chip on a mission you can extract immediately without completing the objectives and keep your loot. Your ship is home base and will be producing the stuff you need to survive so chips are valuable enough for early mission extraction. Classes are also found as chips first which you have to extract with to unlock, and I love this concept because it reminds me of the skills system in diablo 1. Quasimorphosis spreads the longer you're on a mission—can be managed with certain items, and will eventually spawn harder and harder demons. Depending on the planet and the corporation the mission is against you'll be facing different enemies with different gear and theme. So far there's a couple different mission types. You can work for any number of the corporations currently in the game and they all give different loot. You can trade as well. Extremely good start for EA. Exactly the type of game I've been waiting for and addicting. Deaths are frustrating but I find myself trying again and again. This game is perfect extraction roguelike formula that works very very well. It's a very good feeling when you complete a mission and extract some of those much needed items.

Extraction Pachinko

I had the game on my radar for quite a while and after I finalyl dived in, I was very hooked for over two weeks. Artstyle and soundscape are all very nice, the gameplay seemed tight and tactical, setting and premise alike are without doubt interesting, and occasional death or two didn't bother me much, it's a roguelike after all. Even the features early into development cycle such as dynamic overworld map show good potential. But as I got over learning the game, and played more and more I noticed that... the game has very little point to it. And n, that's not about there being little to no story (atm). I started noticing that I win or die mostly by RNG, rather than calling shots. I mostly win by favourable spawn of elevators to progress through the level or spawn of chips or some crucial items, or die from single shot, accidentially walking into poison puddle, from getting set on fire etc. some of these happenings cannot be allievated at all, you're dead before you notice. But sending out geared up commandos, investing high tier armor, weaponry and ton of supplies improved survival rate marginally, but was huge risk, after all I "worked" hard to get all this stuff and it can still all go poof in a moment. And the point of the game is to extract maximum value upon completion of a quest, so bringing lotsa stuff with you limits your available space even more and affects some stats like dodge chance or callory consumption. And as I said it all does very little to tilt scales in your favour and let you survive runs reliably. And for the msot part I was doing naked runs sending out new clone after new clone armed in minimum gear and... I was mostly succeeding just as much with 0 real risk. And if investing your hard-earned, bartered for and crafted trinkets into your runs is generally not worthwhile... Then what's the point of accumulating them? Or sending out skilled charters that mostly die just as fast as noob ones? It's a refund for me. Maybe some other time.

Sseth recommended it, I got filtered

Played it a couple of times and got filtered. A very unforgiving game. If you like roguelikes, it might be for you. For me it was a few gruesome gimmicks (cannibalism, body damage, infections - the game is definitely good at portraying a world that has abandoned humane values), a very interesting universe, and combat that - in my subjective experience - piles a lot of encounters of low lethality atop a final dungeon encounter that's very dangerous. If you can beat that, you will feel like a king. I couldn't, so I feel like crap. I paid to be proven incompetent.

Addicting game for Sado Masochists

The game has nice graphics and UI and has the potential to become a great game, but it is unfair. After the tutorial you have better gear than you get when you die to try again. And you will die often. Enemies in the first mission after the tutorial can one-hit you and you loose everything. You cannot go in again with a second try to pickup what you lost. It is gone. Better delete the save game and play the tutorial again to get better gear. Or uninstall the game completely. I hope it will improve, so that you have a fair chance after you die to go back in and collect what you dropped to bring it home. I might revisit the game later but at the current state it is unplayable for me. Despite that being said, I give 3 points because it has nice setting and atmosphere and big potential to become a great game.

Hey Hey People

I have really strong vibes of Darkest Dungeon 1 here and there. Except for the team and narration but that's okay. You play as a single person in a turn based roguelike way. They walk through a generated "dungeon", they have to eat, they need to carry different ailments for different debuffs, inventory is limited, if you make it out alive you keep all your stuff, if you die you lose your stuff. There is a good amount of weapons and equipment to find, even early game. The whole atmosphere is brilliant. Good music, nice graphics, good ideas everywhere. I like how grim the whole game world is. And checking the roadmap it is even going to get better, but if it stopped here, i would already be happy with my purchase. (20% off if you got the title reference)
