Fantastic remake of the original arcade classic. The Raiden series was always a brutal bullet hell shooter with a one more go (coin) hyped feel. Spent countless hours at the arcade playing this, still refuse to use bombs!
In a world where everything gets dumb-downed and generic in order to harvest a wider audience of their coins, ToMe goes in the opposite direction. Full of charm, it is a unique gem that grows on you the more you play it. - Random generation & infinite dungeon mode - Unlocks and punishing difficulties (so you can brag to yourself) - Unique characters and skilltrees - Well written lore - 'My neighbour drew it' funky loading art - Loot hotter than thigh-highs - Chat messages when others die in the world - No micro transactions - DLC waiting time mental damage 5/5 (I buy this on every platform i see it & it's still worth it)
Awesome city builder and a worthy sibling to Caesar 3 and Zeus. 10/10
