Pros: - Real akiba district - Good story and characters Cons: - Controller only. Controls doesn't work with mouse & keyboard, and all tutorial shows only controller buttons. - Be ready to study level-up tutorials. Game grows is not intuitive and soon you'll be beaten to pulp by enemies.
Idea is good, graphic is brilliant. But inventory system kills the game. You have to drag weapon/mod on a character and only then see if it can be equipped or not. Same to compare new weapon with equipped one - equip new weapon, see if numbers are better/worse, try to find old weapon in inventory. Considering whole exploration is done to find some loot and get better equipment, inventory design kills all the fun from shiny new weapons and makes game meaningless.
Nice visuals and overall atmosphere. Additional puzzles make card game itself more diverse and interesting. Unfortunately game demands good tactical skills. You can't just relax and play cards as in Solitaire - typical enemy in early levels has 50% higher stats and is fully loaded with potions. And that ruined game for me. You can't get better equipment, you can't even purchase as many potions as you'd want. You're limited to a scarce minimum that developers provided to you.
