The Whisperer

OK

I actually like this one better than "The Whispering Valley." It's short, but creepier and less frustrating than the longer game.

The Whispering Valley

It's fine.

It has long load times, the puzzles take you item to item, long walks between points, but under 3 hours and has a certain charm at times. Appropriately creepy atmosphere.

The Librarian

Cute

Cute game. About 16 mintutes to play through. Nothing too interesting in puzzles, but great atmosphere. I like a game that isn't padded.

CORPSE FACTORY

Eh

It's fine, but telegraphs all its twists way too early. Has intereting ideas it never capitalizes on. But it does include "Crow Factory" and lets you just view the other endings when you get one.

Beyond a Steel Sky

It's great

Most adventure games now that are good still feel like they are missing a middle or an end. This has a whole story and it flows nicely. A great follow-up to the original.

Return of the Phantom

Amusing and short

It's a cute and short game. It clearly tries to pad its length with the maze everyone complains about (I agree you should just look up the path to take, there is no hint in game as to what to do). If you like the novel and want a silly follow-up, it'll only take 2 hours of your time.

Shadow Man Remastered

Fun

A really fun game. As others mentioned, it can hitch at times, but it never caused me to die or anything like that. A bit too long at almost 23 hours.

Secret Files: Sam Peters

More a demo than a game

The game only took me an hour and a half to beat! The puzzles were logical for this kind of game and doesn't have the nonsense of secret files 2. The main character is annoying, but the plot is the start of a fine adventure game. It goes nowhere though. You just kind of do a lot of reading to get the plot and can easily ignore it. I just wish there was more. It's amusing enough if you can get it for a $1.

Unforeseen Incidents

Really good

It's really good with fun puzzles! The ending is clearly rushed though. It feels like there is a missing middle.
