I loaded CMBB from my CD and compared the textures to the images on GOG. This release is clearly and upgraded version with high resolution textures all around .. !!!!
Old but still decent.
The Best adventure game .. hands down .. the best. Full Throttel and Day of the Tenticle were good but Lucasarts went all out in this one. The content and Day of the Dead theme made for an adventure game thas has never been matched.
In the 90s I played alot of adventure games. This was one of the best. It's controls are a bit clunky but it doesnt detract from the game. The original cd version was 3 Cds ..
The store page says there are " Improvements ". I did'nt see any improvements. It's still looks and feels the same as my original CD version. If you have it already there is no reason to buy it again.
It would be an OK game if they added circut board repair and diagnostics ..
Wait For Steam version to go on sale ... GOG currently does not support Island Thunder or Desert Seige
It's a good game. I still have my original CDs for all the SWAT games. They fall short of Jagged Alliance and the Rainbow 6 series in depth and content. The only reason to buy these is you have the original disks is the DRM. The reason to not buy them if you have the original CDs is you can't add MODs to these GOG versions. I've had no success.
