Amazing mysterious atmosphere making you wonder what is going on. Enemies are quite healthy though and no upgrades make you feel dominant over them at any point of the game, which can be tedious when you want to explore and complete 100% collection for example.
Played for 3.5 hours and it looks like I've seen it all. There's no new modes, only difficulty selection. Every run starts the same, you cannot affect it anyhow by some upgrades or something (except for the game mode (2 of them), dome style (also 2) and character (you guessed it - 2). It's a nice cozy game, but really? This price for this much content? It's just not enough.
+ : Great atmosphere, SPC feel and mystery - : Unbalanced difficulty, spikes in difficulty (you breeze one room and are devastated by the next one) - : Mediocre story not even getting close to fulfilling what it was setting up to - : Junky controls (oh, irony) - : Very messy shooting - : "Where the heck do I go?" plus unreadable map Ending was not worth the struggle of going through this game. Disappointment.
Cozy game about mining stuff in the wall. The setting is nice, backdrops are beautiful and there's always something misterious about lore pieces you find. Gameplay can become quite repetitive, until you start unlocking some more powerful game-changing upgrades - then you can breeze though attempts quite effrotlessly. Overall pretty good experience for a fair price. I wish it was a bit bigger/longer, but I guess that's what DLC's are for, right?...
Title says it all. If you like sci-fi futuristic deus-ex'y atmosphere and world and you like platformers - you will like this game. Controls (or battle system in general) kinda need some getting used to them, but other than that this game can get you stuck with it for some time while you explore the world it provides.
Played it through twice by now (first playing with friends on a spooky night close to Haloween couple years ago, now again to refresh it in my memory) - both times hit the same. Great atmospheric horror game, which maybe not as startling as some other jumpscare-focused games, but it still makes you shiver and wonder what is behind that corner and what is lurking in the dark. Great story that asks you important questions of existence as human and where does it end - being a human. I definitely recommend this game to anyone interested in sci-fi horror with interesting plot and amazing dark atmosphere.
Game feels unfinished, early-access even. Random T-pose NPCs, junky controls, some random events bugged out completely, stupid telephone calls during some tense stealth mission (and the call breaks your control, so you cannot take anybody down because F doesn't work), cars appearing out of nowhere just flying aroung the Night City. The list can go on and on. And I am only in the beginning of the game! I still believe that patches will fix the game eventually, but CDPR should've postponed the launch again instead of releasing this buggy thing. There won't be the second first impression anymore.
