I love this game. The predecessor was good already, but had one big problem. It was not a parody, so there was no references to laugh about and they failed to tell the story. In this game voice acting was used and it worked great. In fact the cut scenes were so popular, that they were released as stand alone movie on Blu-Ray. https://www.amazon.com/Lego-Batman-Movie-heroes-features/dp/B00COGY6YO/ The gameplay is great as usua, smoother than in part 1. Driving through the city is fun, there is a lot to explore. Other than in part 3 (which is great in it's own way) they didn't try to put in too many different worlds, it all stays in the city. The different costumes are used wisely for the city puzzles. But be aware: I think this was the first "open world" Lego game and it came with a price ... this game REALLY profits from a SSD, the loading times without are just a bad joke, at least it was like that in the original Steam-version. I wonder if they changed that (I am downloading right now, will test later).

I am not so much a fan of choice games where there is nothing else to do than making choices. I never made it past the intro of the second season of the Walking Dead. This game ist ok, the new interpretation of the charakters is interesting, even if it doesn't really make much of a difference. The choices are quite irrelevant or all too obvious. But ... in some games you get more rewarder. In the Batman games no matter what you do, you always seem to lose. There is a downside for everything you do and that's a bit frustrating. In this game that factor is not as bad as in part2.
There are many reasons to love this game, most are well known. The GoG release however misses mod support and character import/export. I don't care for the missing online multiplayer part, but I miss the rest :s And that is the reason why right now I am reinstalling the Steam version of the game.

I didn't play all the cases yet, but so far it got me. It feels a lot like the old text adventures, it all comes down to a very basics. The riddles are quite basic, the solution is never far away. And since you never own many items, randomly combining won't take too long :P And you know what? It works. It's just you, your mouse cursor and the things on the screen. The humor is ok, sometimes people are a little bit TOO dumb for my taste, but that's ok. I DID have my laughs, but usually not about the people being dumb.

First things first: I like the game, I really do. First I hesitated because the main char didn't really appeal to me, but then I gave it a try and it's actually quite good. The fact that everyon in the game is a nerd and you can find tons of quotes from pop culture doesn't hurt either. But it has it's flaws for certain. First of all: Randall. You may like him or not, that's up to you. But he shifts too much. Sometimes he is just a drunkard, sometimes he knows way too much, is too intelligent for his role in this game. He is the top nerd of all, sometimes he hates all nerds. Sometimes the hints could be a bit more accurate (I refuse to use the hint system, a good adventure game doesn't need that), I admit I DID look at a walkthrough and even then sometimes I would not see a logical way to get to that specific action to do other than trying random stuff for hours. And - I hate to say it - the dialogs are too long. I love adventure games (the funny ones AND the serious ones), I love good dialogs, but in this case they exagerated. Click - 1 minute of dialog - Click - 30 seconds of dialog - Click - 2 minutes of dialog. I actually found myself (literally) getting up from the computer and making coffee while waiting for a dialog to end. Maybe the dialogs also are so exhausting because of the bad mixing. The music is good, but while sometimes the voiceover is loud and crystal clear as it should be, some other times you just can't understand a word and during that (long) dialog you can't turn down the music volume which would be too soft for most other cases. So the game for now leaves me with mixed feelings so far (I dind't play through yet).

short and simple: Saints Row 4 is a fun feast. It has so many fun moments and highlights ... After a while the gameplay may get a bit repeating, but that's the same with all open world games. I had a jolly good time when I played it, when it was still exclusive to steam and I am more than happy to finally see it DRM free. Sadly the GoG Versions of Saints Row 3+4 don't allow us to upload / dowload characters, that's a bit of a downer. That feature really should be implemented at some point. Still ... all of the SR games are worth their money, even if I could have saved a couple of bucks if I didn't rush to buy GooH and SRIV and got them from GoG Connect for free instead ... oh well.

This is one of the most underrated Space Sims I know of. Sure, it's presentation (due to the budget) is WAY behind the Wing Commander series or similar games, but the flight and combat system are great, the ship and space station models are good, some of them are huge. The story ... meh. A nice storyline about a corporation and rebels, but nothing worth mentioning except that you can actually choose your side. I had a lot of fun with this game, try it out.
