Very well-made and interesting game. You could also call it a somewhat melancholic sci-fi story disguised as a game. And don't underestimate the soundtrack. Usually not a big fan of 3d platform and jump&run games, this one really surprised me. And in a good way. First, the platforming is quite straightforward and manageable and doesn't distract much from the overachig story and secondly, and most importantly, it's very forgiving. It's explaining story-wise why falling down is no big deal. Just get up, dust off and try again. And this fact is being referenced in-game many times, often humourously. As some have complained - yes, the game may be a bit on the easy side which is a good thing. There are some puzzles, but they are ok and not too annoying. This game is not a challenge on how many enemies you can slaughter per minute or how many dimensional structures you can rotate in your head. Instead, it's a fun (and somtimes funny), relaxing and interesting story which has its own way and certainly some surprises waiting. And this game runs perfectly fine with wine 9.0 and dxvk, with no further fiddling around. Still, I'd prefer a native version. One caveat: If you have a controller with two d-pads the game won't like it. This is something many games suffer from, but I'll note it anyway.

This is a title that would really profit from a demo being available - there would be no disapointed players cause noone would buy it. If you bought it by accident and haven't done so yet - refund it. The idea and art style intention is not to be faulted but the execution is awful. This game is so bad one immediatedly asks themselves how much the testers were being paid to endure it. Oh right - there were no testers… A resident evil-inspred game, not in itself anything new, combined with Alice in wonderland could lead to refreshing and cool ideas and an interesting game - could, but didn't. tldr: don't bother

Another in a long line of games with a good idea, interesting story - and bad execution, very bad one. Something that's becoming more and more common is to add atypical gameplay elements to "spice it up". In very few cases it's done well and makes a good game into a great one. But most often than not it's because the developers run out of ideas, time or money (or all of it). This game is a fine example. It's a typical, rather well made adventure game (not strictly point&click but very close) with reasonable puzzles (a bit on the easy side) and a few acceptable quick-time events. All is well so far. But then the developers realized the game is too easy, too short or both and they threw in some badly made street fighter-like scenes to mix it up. Not just one, but a load of it. A big load. Way too big. It not only distrupt the mood but destroys the story (which up to this point is quite unusual and interesting) and more or less ruins the whole game. The battles are long and the controls are so sluggish you're better of randomly pressing buttons to win instead of actual combat moves. I didn't even bother finishing the game because it's simply annoying. I truely wonder how this got past the playtesters… Sadly, it's not possible to give a negative game rating, this would score pretty good then. And I'm strongly considering reclaiming my money as this is pretty much junk.

There's not much to say or write about this game other than: Don't buy it. If you get it for zero, maybe grab it, but don't pay for it. It's not worth it. Now, don't get me wrong: The artistic creativity that went into this game is quite amazing and someone really put their mind to this. And I'm not one to disdain artists, especially obviously talented ones. There are way too many non-talented and mediocre artists out there who believe they're the greatest, so this is a nice change. But I seriously question the game design decisions that led to this. All this nice art is not part of the game but just background wallpaper. Wallpaper for a simple, tedious and way too buggy and much too difficult 2D platformer. If you removed the platformer part and just leave the backgrounds as a slideshow this would actually be a better game. It wouldn't be a game anymore, but it would still be better. So, obviously, this is junk. But I really would like to know what happened during development. Something went way of course and this should have been spotted early on.
