Redneck Rampage Collection

Good game

Yes this game isn't as good as 3D realms FPS games (blood, Duke, SW), but it's still a thrill ride from start to finish. The setting and atmosphere is well done and really makes you feel as if the world you are playing in is real. It feels like a place that could exist--I guess in a way it does. The graphics look slightly more gritty and realistic than other build engine FPS games, and the art style fits well with the theme of the game. The music is good and catchy, but may get annoying with extended play. I recommend turning the music off because it really kills the atmosphere of the game. Level design is well done for the most part, but some levels in the first game can become very confusing, which may lead to frustration. For example in one level you have to find a switch which is not easy to locate. Moreover, some (actually most) levels IN RNR 1 are just too damn large, and drag on for a bit. In fact, I'll go as far as to say that the first game is the weakest link in the series, as the expansion pack and the sequel are very well done. Aside from these flaws, RNR is a must play for gamers who love 90s shooters. Total package for a small price.

Eador. Masters of the Broken World

Same game

Same game play as Genesis, but you are paying 14 bucks more for the updated graphics. Only for the hardcore fans of the first game. For new players, I recommend the first game because it's cheaper, unless you're big on graphics.

Shogo: Mobile Armor Division

Fun game

Shogo is a fun FPS game, but its certainly no classic. The levels seem bit linear at times, and most of the environments are rather bland. The A.I. sucks big donkey's you know what, and enemies are lacking in variety. However, when it comes to action, Shogo delivers. The weapons, especially the assault rifle , are satisfying to use and its fun seeing enemies become a bloody mess after you fill them with lead. For the asking price, I think its worth owning.

Thief™ 3: Deadly Shadows

Very enjoyable

This is the second thief game I've played, and unlike what others suggest, I am not at all disappointed with this installment. In fact, this is my favorite thief game thus far. Lot of new additions that critics overlook, such as the city segments, being able to buy items, pick pocketing, and the lock-pick mini game as they call it. Graphics are gorgeous for a PC game and the environments are all very refreshing, unlike some duds in Thief Gold. If you liked the first two thief games, you will like this as long as you keep an open mind.
