I'm playing this on PS4 and I'm impressed by the amount of work put into this game. Nothing is overlooked in each department and the game has huge amount of meaningful content. They packed everything on one blue-ray on PS4. I'm impressed. Thanks.

This is the Dos version and I feel the music quality in this version is not up to par with the Sega Genesis/Megadrive version of the same game. On top of that, there are couple tracks missing from the OST, which is unfortunate because the OST is solid as a whole. Also the HUD is too large and takes up too much of the screen space. If you have an option, play the Sega version.

Good enough to play if you have 15 mins to kill, but it's not a game that will stick with you for a long time. The difficulty is ridiculous because there is no sweet spot for players who are looking for a fair challenge of good old raiden games. The easier difficulties are little too easy and normal and above are just insane. Even if you have played these types of games before, consider spending your money with caution. Very niche title made for players with super fast reflexes. Rest of us can enjoy being frustrated.

Beware of the 5 star reviews; they are from people who grew up with these games. I only tried this game recently, and the interface is very clunky and hard to get used to for someone who has no prior knowledge of this game. I know the game is dated, but the controls and the interface negatively affected my enjoyment of the game. If you can look past that, you may find something of value. 3/5

I was hyped for this since its initial reveal and I can happy confirm that it was worth the long wait. My PC is aging and I don't have the money to soup it up at this point, so I went with the PS4 version, and I can tell you, the game looks stunning even on consoles. The game play is smooth as in Witcher 2 with some tweaks and there's so much exploration and adventuring to be done, it's insane. If you love open map RPGS with tons of quests, you will love this game.

I got this for 20 bucks for the PS4 on boxing day (Canada) and it really is one of the best story driven first person shooters I've ever played in recent times along with Bioshocks, and Wolfenstein: The New Order. The issue I have with this release is that it feels like half the game because you really need to play through Metro 2033 in order to get maximum enjoyment out of Last Light. I'd played Metro Last Light prior to 2033 on my PC few years ago and I didn't enjoy the story all that much, but playing the first game and then the second game in order in Redux truly made me appreciate LL. Take my review for what it's worth. On the side note, if you love the universe of Metro, I highly highly recommend the novels (Metro 2033 and 2034). The story in the novels is 10x better (for obvious reasons). It's less about shooting monsters, and more about exploring the world of Metro and experiencing some of the best psychological horror in science fiction. In fact, the book scared me more than the game as far as horror goes. Best books I've read in a long time.
