I have this on the Turbo Grafx 16 (Cd rom) and it's one of the most enjoyable and immersive role playing/action games I've played in my life. I will be getting this for sure as this version looks different from the Turbo Grafx version. I am not sure what arrangements they use for the music in this game, but the arranged CD music in the TG16 was amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yELuvkU32Lg&list=PL714885386BC83971 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38dR1YYulio&index=2&list=PL714885386BC83971

A good old game, but I want to share a tip with gamers who are frustrated by the AI. If you hide in the bushes and shoot the enemies from there, they won't detect you, unless they are standing like right next to you. I beat the game by using this tactic. This won't work inside buildings, so you need to navigate slowly and carefully and have that trigger finger ready.

A mind numbingly boring, 2 hour puzzle game with some of the best visuals ever seen in an Indie game. Unfortunately, this is one of those games that tries way too hard to be sophisticated and artsy, but falls flat on its face when it comes to the actual meat of the game - the gameplay. While there are a few inventive puzzles in the game you spend the vast majority of your time walking through the environment listening to story exposition or even worse walking through the environment listening to nothing at all. At Least, it's better than the overrated travesty that was Gone Home. However, it seems supporting each and every Indie game has become a self fulfilling prophecy for many gamers, as they try to find report something positive about an Indie game, no matter how lame it may be, while they view triple AAA titles like the great plague. Just look at Gone Home. I don't like where things are going.

I purchased this game with the expectation of a short, 2 to 3 hour experience, held together with a good story that I would uncover myself, and plenty of 90's nostalgia items to play with as I explored the house and discovered interesting things about the family that lives there. What I got was a 60 minute tour of a boring house, in which I got to pick up some items, while the story was narrated by a voice-over. I can see how some people would be moved by the story, but it really has no depth to it. I definitely wouldn't recommend buying this for over $5.

I was eating chili n' playing this game, and one putrid scene (wid dead rat or something) came up and I puked all over my Keyboard. Dis is a very offensive and disgusting game that should come widda warning. I want GOG to pay for my keyboard or no future buy lol. Classic game, but not for weak of heart. peace.

Average shooter. Levels are really abstract, meaning they don't feel like actual locations that could exist. They merely feel like video game maps put together for the sake of creating a FPS game. You never feel any emotional connection with the world, unlike with Doom, Heretic, Blood, etc. Enemies are boring and take too many hits to die. Bosses are cheap as hell. After some time, levels tend to blend together and become repetitive due to their maze like and uninspired designs. Graphics are decent enough but can't compare to doom. All in all...a very mediocre shooter.

Terrible game that is being overrated by nostalgia blinded fanboys of the 90s (a trend on GOG). I love Blood, and this is an insult to that game. Lame weapons, generic setting, uninspired level design, and just terrible broken AI. On normal, the AI does inconsistent damage (takes out more or less damage), on easy, AI is a joke. Some of the levels are so badly designed, that you will lose your health and won't be able to advance because the AI is so cheap and will kill you in a heartbeat.
