I entered this game expecting a twin stick shooter with some action and a basic story, however, I found a little hidden gem with great characters, a nice narrative with a couple of twist and a surprisingly fleshed out world for a 7-8 hour game. May sound a little bit short, but the story is worth it and the levels and puzzles varied enough to entertain each minute of gameplay, never overstaying its welcome. If complete price sounds too steep for you, it goes on sale for dirty cheap very often, I, for one, am waiting for the next game this studio can offer.
This game keeps on the line of its predecessor, having a great psychological horror narrative driven by some puzzles, if you like the first one, this one sure won't let you down, and i can't tell anything elso to avoid the risk of spoiling anything.
I have never been a great fan of horror games, but this has the right amount to be enjoyable without terrifying too much, also the puzzles are nice, the story is great, with a really deep message behind it. Also the main character is one easy to love, with his somewhat funny comments and travel trough morals
For those who like platform games with clever puzzles and a narrative that really makes you think, this is the perfect game. Set in an utopia of sorts, things start going wrong when the government discovers you are an illegal worker, from that point, tough battles and a deep narrative with complex characters awaits you.
Without making any spoilers, this game has certainly a lot of clever design ideas on it, making it a fast paced "puzzle" game with zelda-like action. I just got stuck in a couple of situations, but it's not a difficult title. Perfect for speedrunners and clever humor lovers. The only problem is that for me it was a little bit short, but it was worth it.
This is a good game, its beautifully crafted and the gameplay is really solid and funny, however, its not exactly as i expected, in my personal opinion, the story was overall ok, but just that, not as good as i was expecting for the things i had heard before, and i found the game easy due to the automatic aim of the shots. However, i really loved the platforming desings and the puzzles, which is what i enjoyed the most and saves this title for me.
If you like games with physics puzzles and interesting gameplay designs, this is your game, the story is also a nice adding comparing to the original, just be warned, the main problem with the story is that the dialogs don't have any subtithes and the voices tend to sound too low, which may cause trouble hearing it and even more trouble if you have any hearing difficulty.
Sincerely, having played both games, the first one is better, it had a better way to tell the story, and more choices in the gameplay style, but this game knows how to keep the spirit of the original, keeping the bloodshed, and the interesting narrative, while reducing the elections available in terms of gameplay. However, that's not even a negative thing, it's done for a reason, a very obvious one, and i find it well implemented. I recommend to play the first one, finish this one and ther come back to the original, since there are a lot of clever references and ties between the two.
This game is just perfect, it has a perfect balance of stealth and just mindless killing, with a thrilling story that makes you think and colorful graphics that make you want to keep playing, which is also perfect for those woho like games with scores to beat. With a lot of unlockables to get that greatly expand your gameplay style, it's certainly going to make you play for hours. Just a warning, those with a really weak stomach or aversion for even the slightest violence, abstain. Also i don't know if this game has epilepsy warnings, but those who suffer from it, be careful.
