What can i say about this game that hasn't been already said, the story is interesting, with its cartoonish mute way of storytelling, the backgrounds and characters are beautifully hand drawn, and it has the sense of humor typical of its genre, some puzzles are difficult to guess, but at least it has a guide for those really difficult ones. Te only problem is with certain really difficult puzzle thant can't be solved with a guide and sometimes is more a matter of luck, but overall, a really enjoyable experience.
I don't have much to say about this game that has't already been said. The beautiful hand drawn worlds, the tight platforming and amazing combats, the solid controls, the lovely characters and the grat way of developing the story and the world. This game is simply one of my favorites, and has been adding new content every now and then, surprising with new events and things to do. This game is really one that deserves the hours exploring the amazing and hostile environments, always prepared to throw a challenge (or two) right for you to overcome it (and oh boy, it feels really good to do so)
Transistor is one of these games in which you start knowing almost nothing, you are just in a beautiful world knowing nothing about your surroundings, but as you advance through Cloudbank streets, the narrator is always uncovering things about the world and the situation you are in, with some remarks being very subtle while others are not. The combat system is also very interesting, and despite looking somewhat complex or maybe overwhelming at the beginning, once you get it, you really create strategies and combos that can transform a typical battle into a dance of sorts
Okay, making things clear with few words and no spoilers, this is a great game, with a beautiful world, solid gameplay (personally better with controller), and a great narrative, which will point out things you are doing at the moment, having lots of nice and funny details.
It's a funny platforming game with interesting ideas, like basing everything in rhythm, which makes it funny to play. However, it's extremely short, and it tries to be longer artificially, by having a "no death mode", which personally is not the best way to make a game longer and it can be frustrating. Despite this, it's a game i had fun with and will come back again
I liked and enjoyed this game, but it didn't have a lot of action, and it was more centered in "exploration", which is good, but also very linear until you finish the game, it's a funny game, but maybe i found it a little repetitive
Sincerely, i didn't completely know what kind of game it was, i only knew it had hand drawn cartoon style characters and beautiful worlds, and that it had some metroidvania-ish elements. I'm completely satisfied with this game, which has a solid and fast paced combat system, good exploration, and a really good and adult story, i recommend it to everybody who loves some of these aspects in videogames, for me, it's worth it
