Port Royale 2

Interesting game

I really like the game, it has a variety of gameplay dirctions be it only trading, producing, conquest or a combination of these (Although I am still doing the tutorial scenarios which is in itself interesting)

It's fun and replayable

It's quite fun, but don't get too attached to your base as it can be over quickly if you meet the wrong enemy.

Stoneshard

Awsome game

I really like the game and it's mechanics. The combat is easier with armored characters, and at least in the beginning mages need to kite the enemies. For mages it's worth putting a couple of skill points in the staves category. The survival aspect is a bit cumbersome, but hey, lentil soup saves the day, so it's not a big deal. Only the save mechanic bugs me, for someone who barely has time to play it's quite problematic losing in a dungeon and restarting from the last sleeping point. The bedroll is useful for this but I do not understand why does it expire after 1 use, especially if it's quite expensive. Everything has durability or spoil time, but not bedrolls, they are single use... A couple more uses would be fine. Or the possibility to sleep on the ground. And get a bag! It helps a lot.

Drova - Forsaken Kin

Really enjoyable

Battle mechanics are quite enjoyable and easy to grasp, but you can outplay stronger opponents with good timing. These mechanics also seem well thought through. Dashing and stamina management is important. The speed of the combat is paced well and gives the possibility of planning your encounter, or even fleeing as I had to do a couple of times with wolves. The enemies also have readable movements and wind-up for their skills. The menu interactions also seem welll planned and easy to understand. The interactions with the characters are enjoyable, and not knowing the identity of every character until you speak to them is also a nice touch, I like meeting new characters. The story starts interesting enough, but I am still at the beginning of the first act so I can't say much. And I also like the style of the game quite a lot, it's pixelated but still stylish and good looking. Overall, the game is incredibly well made with it's mechanics (at least in the early stages), style and story elements.
