Oh if you haven't seen the movies I suggest watching them before playing this as this follows the movies and you will have spoilers. I had fun yes the platforming is a little janky but this game didn't originally come out on the PC it was ported to it so I didn't expect perfection.
I tried to play Cathedral I got to one area and gave up I feel like I will actually be able to beat this one it helps that this game has an assist mode for people that just want to see the story and don't want to die on the same screen over and over and have to backtrack from a save point. I feel like more of these types of games should have an assist mode or at least difficulty settings which Cathedral did not. Now even though Elden Pixels did not develop Cathedral they did publish it. The thing I did enjoy about both this game and Cathedral was the beautiful 8 bit style music and art. I see from reading reviews that Alwa's Legacy is easier than this one maybe I should have started with it but I didn't know if the game was part of a series and didn't want to start on the second game on the off chance that some story elements happened in the first game and I didn't see them. Anyway enough rambling great game you should play it especially if you love 8 bit action adventure platformers
I am not sure how I feel about the ending but I had a lot of fun playing this game I found parts to be quite funny. Guybrush as always bumbles into things and somehow manages to escape mostly because Lechuck never does what he should do and just have him killed like a typical villain in a Bond film that always taunts the hero and never follows through on his threats until it is too late. Enough rambling I enjoyed the adventure and thought it was well worth the purchase.
I found this game quite fun I bought my copy on Steam only thing I wish the game had was voice acting but I can understand how that can be difficult to accomplish. What I have played of the game so far I have enjoyed. I hope the game is completed from what I gather there are only 3 chapters done so far. Anyway I say great job to the people who made this I enjoyed myself.
I have been waiting for you to rerelease this here for some time. One of my favorites in the series. I stll have the cds of this game but in this day and age computers have so much hard drive space and discs can wear out whereas digital copies are installed completely on the hard drive and you don't have to wait for the cd to load. Anyway enough rambling about that. This game is great it has the same witty dialogue and gameplay as the others in the series. When this first came out this was a huge change in graphical design for the series as the first and second were pixellated and this one is in a cartoony style but it fits for this series. Also this is the first one that gave all the main characters iconic voices. They were so iconic they brought back the people that voiced them to do the voices in the Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2. Let's also talk about the voice acting of secondary characters one of particular note is Alan Young I don't need to tell you what character he plays in the game it is instantly recognizable to anyone who watched Ducktales growing up. Anyway enough rambling buy this game now if you still have the discs buy it again cause like I said discs can wear out.
