Quake

finally here game is awesome but

However where is the soundtrack I wanted to be able to play Quake with the cd music without the cd in the drive that is why I bought it as I already own Quake and the expansion packs on cd. Am I not doing something right I mean I downloaded 1 gb of data I assumed I got the soundtrack. Also this game desperately needs its own forum on here I had to post my question here cause there isn't a separate forum.

The Secret of Monkey Island™: Special Edition

This game is finally here

This game brings back alot of fond memories one of the best and funniest adventure games of all time. Guybrush and Lechuck are two of the most iconic characters and this game is why Lucasarts was one of the kings when it came to adventure games back in the 90s. So glad its finally here on GOG can't wait to get the rest in the series

Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers

This game is a classic

I still have my cd around here somewhere but I repurchased it such an awesome game and great voice acting by Tim Curry as Gabriel Knight. If you want to own this game I suggest buying the original the remake just looks too polished to me just doesn't have the charm that this one has. Not to mention no Tim Curry as Gabriel Knight in the remake. Yes I admit it I'm a huge Tim Curry fan :)

The Labyrinth of Time

thanks Gog for adding this game

Been wanting to play this again played it a long time ago one minor complaint from the original version is it was played completely from the cd and it was a case you had to reboot your computer first to start it. Thankfully though I'm sure that's not a problem with this new version. One other minor quibble is mazes aplenty most annoying was the surreal maze as you can't map it out like the rest. At least they give you an automap for the other mazes.

Waxworks

great game used to own this on floppies

Its a very interesting game with 4 mazes to explore. A pyramid, dark London streets, a graveyard, and an abandoned mine each with its own dangers. The idea of going through a living waxwork was a neat idea one that would be cool to implement in a modern game. My only complaint is the mazes (especially the Pyramid one) with no automap its easy to get lost you'll end up wandering around for hours which is bad especially in the Graveyard waxwork cause you'll end up dead if you fight too many respawning zombies. However if you love horror-based adventure games and don't mind the maze-like environments and combat elements this is definitely a worthwhile purchase just expect to get lost a lot especially in the pyramid.
