En Garde!

Error 404

To woke or not to woke, that is the question.

BONG

I liked that the sound when you hit an armored target is the same as hitting someone with a shovel in Postal 2. That's pretty much it.

South of the Circle

Great freebie GOG

Another non-game from people that failed at making it in the cinema. Getting of course 9/10 from stuckups journos for being another game that no one will play beside people liking the smell of their own farts.

Hero of the Kingdom II

Don't even try it

It's not even a game, they make you clic on stuff to complete tasks. Someone said in the reviews it was a point and clic, I strongly disagree, a point and clic has puzzle to solve, it's not just busy work. GoG is taking the steam road of greenlighting any garbage shovelwares there is and it is becoming incresively difficult to find good games buried under all that crap. It's insulting that GoG even gave that game for free during the sales.

Brigador: Up-Armored Edition

Pretty but boring isometric shooter

As a "campaign" I expected to make my own pilot, buy tanks and mechs and customize and uppgrade them. What I got was a serie of disjointed mission with random cringe inducing pilots and their vehicles. Gameplay isn't fun.

Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition

Masterpiece of a game

Discovered that gem 13 years too late. A game from an era where developpers actually delivered solid experiences. Masculine characters, playboyhot women, dark and gritty ambiance, amazing stealth action gameplay. A story worth of a movie. Actual love and care for the source material. There's nothing like silently taking down the terrorised henchmen while the joker makes fun of them. You don't just feel like Batman. You are the Batman !

Enderal: Forgotten Stories

You're a mod maker, not a movie director

Look, I like to shit on Bethesda like anyone else, still this is not better than skyrim. The game takes the control away from you every 5min for another scripted scene. Played it for an hour and it was just that scripted scene over scripted scene, giving you exposition like it was a movie. How can you be a gamer making your own video game and doesn't understand that going through long intro/tutorial sequences is not fun. Just let me create my character and let me roam the world. Bethesda, with all their issues understood that.

The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia

Carpal tunnel syndrome

Nice retro art, funny humour with pop culture references. But the gameplay is trash, moving around in a bullet hell while typing an essay in latin isn't my kind of thing. If you are a secretary granted with the power of typing fast this game is for you, but chances are that you don't like video games anyway.

No Man's Sky

Most interresting boring game

The concept of the game is amazing, just the fact that you can seemlessly take off a planet and go into space to wander off in the universe is an accomplishment on its own. You can explore, craft bases, craft giant starship, space stations, meet aliens and learn their language. The problem is that it is incredibly boring to get there. You're going to have to grind your ass to do all theses things. And it's not fun. Combat is not great and almost non existant. If there was a surivval aspect to meeting all thoses randomly generated creatures. It would break the monotony. But all theses beast do is moving randomly around their spawning location. If there was actual combat with monsters and humanoids NPCs it would have saved the game. The gameplay is akward and you cannot jump, only use the jetpack. The quest are fedex-ing you to every part of the galaxy to build stuff or activate things. Every alien NPC is some weird non binary creature without personality. If you really dig the game it's great because it gets free updates with content on a regular basis. Unfortunately I don't see myself playing more of it.
