This is an old Console Game. I am not fond of story base finalfantasy style games, like this. This I watched a 80 year old play when it came out. The game is very beautiful. The action is a form of turned based fighting. This game is all about the story and journey. The game makes fun of it's own style of game, and is very light. I give it 5 stars, despite it not being in my own style of enjoyment for games. The game is functional, funny, dark. The part I love most is the weapons and armor. Manufacturing your own weapons, and armor and the ability to choose and configure your weapon with power crystals. Understand i want to hate this game, because it's not my style of game, but it is a good, old game, worth playing even if your not a ps or xbox console player.
I read the other reviews before starting.. This game is a puzzle with a woman talking at you the whole way through, you learn her story, and find out about the lost crew. Ending was quick, and a little confusing.. All the puzzles are solvable. It left me with the question was she a part of the crew, or the AI running the ship. You never see any of the crew on the ship. The camp fire you walk out to has a few people I assume the crew, was the one in cyro also transported? questions.. questions.. The puzzles are fun, took me 11 days to complete. I had a lot of fun. Despite how much I wanted to like the voice talking through out, I seen her a annoying. Lots of puzzles.. Take your time, don't let it overwhelm you. Worth the $4.99 on special. Many thanks to the game Dev's. Not a portal or talos game, but it has it's own quirks, and it owns it's individual style.
Hours of play. Enjoyable.. Mod-able. Multi-play over GOG version. Strong Zombie Game.. Survival at it's max. Thank you for creating this game.
I own the disc for legendary version, but I thought I would try SE it took a little to work it doesn't work on opensuse leap15.5 wine in default.. I had to use lutris. Works well. very happy.
setup_the_planet_crafter_v1.214_(76256) played on Os Linux opensuse leap 15.5 on wine. It would seem the Unity part of Planet crafter is bugged... I first had no fonts... so I installed MSfont's.. Now I have a white screen on loading... Good game but I guess I will have to play it on steam... as I had no problems with steams version... Game loads... Adding font gave me the writing in options... create game load.. white-screen can not play... So back to playing else where until updated.. Prefer gog games... I was looking forward to playing..
This is a original game.. It is a factory type game.. but your workers are robots... I have issues like the worker rioting and the products have problems. The dev has thought about how humans interact and are treated, This is placed on to robots.. I find that unrealistic. as well as the pretty things for the bots.. but as Loans and investments and The factory stuff, it has good dynamic's. I enjoy working out the problems.. The tutorial is hard yet easy. But it is only easy if you have a business mind set. Because of the ways they bring in problems like a solar flare or a Ice storm which can damage the machines. This game is only pointless if you do not like factory games that force you to think differently and out side the box.. The Issues with earth and the colony is annoying.. forcing robot to work on 11% power because the colony is trying to earn money and grown or may not have the product earth demands. can make things difficult.. but a normal business would go under, if they gave that much money and help to there competitors, or gave to another group like earth when they have nothing. I think since it is using robot that all the work should be more efficient, and the over heads besides power and maintenance should be less.. you don't feed them they don't shower. they just do the work. but i like the ideas behind this game and I am enjoying the game. It is it's own creation and it has a huge logical spin to it It challenges the brain.. I recommend this to people whom like logic and manufacturing processes and business side of bonds, and taking loans to keep things going. This game is cute. Quirky. and well the bots look like it is lagging that is the robots normal movement. Production is the point. So is helping others as stated in the tutorial. If the challenge were in the demo it would of made me purchase it earlier. there should be more and different difficulty's with unlocks for the game. the demo is the sandbox with everything locked. T
Should of listened to the reviews.. I like the Start up and the fictional game screens for audio and graphics.. Will wait for more updates, I hope the game improves..
It has a 80's game play style.. I was Running Open Suse Leap 15.5 (linux) with wine.. It worked and I had to edit the game screen though wine config.. very old style of graphics.. Microids / Microids game seem unpolished.. I was really hope it would be a good game..
Play on Open Suse leap 15.5 (linux) with wine... Runs well.. I like the graphics they are very well done but this game seems to be still in development.. I am a portals player.. so when it started I had high hopes.. I hope the devs keep working, this could be a nice game... the Ai needs a little more interaction. I was impressed with the game even though the reviews were bad.
I love that this is on gog... I spent the Day downloading and installing.. Game runs after install.. No in game sounds, the game has mouse clicks sounds but when the couple are talking about their looks, the mouth moves and no sound comes out.. I also own this on Steam - works without issue... Note: I am Running on open Suse leap 15.5 linux With gog it is not working.. due to sound .. I installed fallout london that crashes too desktop. hope to figure out what is missing.. when I figure it out I will update this..
