The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Russian dub

Russian dub's timings are still broken, the voice lines are sped up/slowed down to fit into English version's timings

DOOM II

Bethesda account

It's a some king of remake on Unity, without the original version available. Usually in cases like these the original version is added via an optional download, this is not the case here. No original *.wad in the files as well, only enchanced. It also asks on first launch to create a (thankfully optional) bethesda account. Takes out from experience anyway. Nitpicky, but though I'd mention

Beatable without a guide...

...it wasn't easy though, still far from a "sierra quest from 90s" level of cryptic as reviews here try to claim. There's no shame in using a guide here, however here's some general advice for those who wanna beat it without one: - When entering new map the first thing you wanna do is press tab to open a map and write down the location name in notepad. This is because some switches affect things in other locations of the same chapter. The game has mercy though and always explicitly tells you the location where it affected things. However, such a knowledge would be useless if you don't know location names :) 1 switch in the game though (maybe more?) breaks the rule and opens a door in a future chapter just to throw you off. I wasn't ready for that and almost went for a walkthrough to confirm. - Write down every key that is required, every key you took, every locked door, and suspicious pieces of scenery. - If you missed the message press ~ to read it (zdoom). - Quest items are applied automatically if they're in your inventory, you never have to equip them. However, sometimes you have to be precise when applying quest items to a quest object as the object can have multiple interactive elements (rarely though, and it should be semi-obvious from the context). - Map updates terrain changes in real-time. Sometimes this is the only way to learn what a switch does. - See new inventory item? - check the manual. - Try to take 1 chapter at a time so you don't forget things. Each chapter is ~3-4 hours long. - I do not recommend the last difficulty on the first playthrough. Mainly because of some bosses. Even for a seasoned doom player. - Be observant. The level design is generally fun, way better than Heretic in my opinion and can pleasantly surprise you with some tight tricky maps. Some large maps are still kind of mazy but the game knows it's boundaries and knows when to stop. Recommend for FPS lovers who tired of linear game design.
