Joking title aside, this game does actually kind of feel like what Star Citizen wants to be. Obviously there are some massive technological differences, but the game does a good job of capturing that immersion factor of "oh crap my navigation system is fried, I'll need to go through storage to find that replacement part" etc. The game has some shortcomings, it doesn't run terribly well (the way the game is designed, it doesn't really need to have constant 60+ framerates, but it'd still be nice), the controls are a bit lacking (it'd be nice if we could scroll though menus with the scroll wheel), and even with the tutorial, it can still take a while to figure out all the game's systems. That being said, I'm having an absolute blast with this game. You basically get exactly what it says on the box, so if you think you'll like this game, you'll probably like this game. If you're on the fence, I reccomend you give it a shot, though maybe wait for a sale

Imagine Hotline Miami, except instead of picking up various weapons like baseball bats and crowbars and throwing them at people, you just pick up people, and throw the people at the people. It's just as amazing as it sounds. It's fast paced and incredibly satisfying, helped very well by the soundtrack. It's not quite as unforgiving as Hotline Miami, you can take a bullet or two, but you can still go down pretty quickly, especially if you get surrounded. The art style makes it very easy to identify what sort of enemies are which at a glance, which meshes very well with the fast pace of the game. Overall, all the various aspects of the game, the controls, the sountrack, the art style, the level design, all come together to create something simple, intense, and and incredibly gratifying. Would wholeheartedly reccomend.

As the title suggests, I can assure you, all these positive reviews are not just nostalgia. I am playing this game for the first time in 2019. This game is older than I am, by a couple months. I am absolutely loving it. The FMVs are full of 90s FMV cheese that I find to be quite endearing, the news logs are actually pretty well written, and the gameplay is absolutely phenomenal. Scouting out areas with drones, EM emitters, or just zooming in and turning on the IR vision mode, giving commands to your squadmates, the fully diagetic and interactable HUD, they all combine to create an experience that remains fun, compelling, and unique to this day. My one and only complain thus far is that the movement controls have not aged well, but I was able to fix this by rebinding a few keys, which you can do by pressing ctrl+f1. I must admit, I am deeply enjoying the suit. Would thoroughly recommend this game to anyone curious about it

At time of writing, I have just lost 3 hours of gameplay because this character completely broke Sebille's questline, and made it impossible to advance in the game without losing her as a companion, or skipping over a very significant part of her questline. He's a fun little character, and for $3, it's not that bad of a buy, but DO NOT TALK TO SIR LORA WHEN ARRIVING AT THE NAMELESS ISLE Also, he's way too difficult to keep alive in my opinion/experience, so I hope you don't mind his ghost haunting you throughout the game Considering the price, yesterday I probably would've given him 4 stars. I don't want to be too harsh on the DLC as a whole, but 3 lost hours of gameplay is 3 lost hours of gameplay. Oddly enough, if the base game was just okay, I probably wouldn't care this much. But the base game is absolutely amazing, so those lost hours are hitting that much harder Hopefully with my warning in hand, you can avoid this bug, and you'll have a lot of fun with this character
