Return to Castle Wolfenstein

The best of the Wolfenstien series.

It's got a hot Aryan waifu, some sleek weapon designs, a solid gameplay loop, and a nice soundtrack to boot. I just wish we could play as the good guys for once.

Dead Space (2008)

Holds up great 2023

Just make sure you download the Dead Space mouse fix from the nexus or pcgamingwiki and install that. Also be aware that vsync acts as a 30 fps cap in fullscreen mode. When you go above 30 fps the physics start to get a bit wonky at times. I personally played the entire game capped at 165 fps and had no issues aside from enemies rag-dolling into the air on occasion when killed. Those issues aside Dead Space is every bit as amazing as it was when I first played it back in 2008. This game sports some of the best audio design I've seen in a horror game which helps create an amazing atmosphere. You've got the RE4 styled gameplay and a story that keeps you hooked to the end with a few twists along the way. If you like horror you owe it to yourself to play Dead Space and it's sequel. Also do yourself a favor and play this version and not the "remake" which inserted lots of woke propaganda like "all-gender" bathrooms, race-swapped characters, uglified women, trigger warnings, etc.

A Hat in Time

Creepy devs.

It's pretty disturbing that a game aimed at children has trans pride flags in it. Even more unsettling is how GoG deletes any reviews that criticize this obvious propaganda. Censorship like that really lets you see the type of people who run this site and the agenda they want pushed.

POSTAL 4: No Regerts

Devs played it safe and failed.

-Graphically the game isn't impressive. -Boring story and reddit tier humor/writing. -Fewer weapons than Postal 2. -Tons of bugs and glitches. -Gameplay just feels dated. -The game as a whole feels like it's in early access. It's honestly pretty disappointing that the devs were too scared or too left-wing to satirize our current political climate in any way. The previous games certainly didn't shy away from political commentary. For God's sake we live in a time where people legitimately believe there are 76 plus genders and that men can give birth. The jokes write themselves. I imagine the devs didn't go down this route because the industry is run by left-wing crybabies who would cancel them if they dared to mock them in any way. That doesn't give Running with Scissors a pass for being cowards in my book though. All in all the game is a cucked and worse version of Postal 2 in almost every way. I'd recommend just playing Postal 2 instead.

Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry

Leisure Suit Larry SJW Edition.

-No nudity. -Ugly chicks. -Larry is a simp now. -Reddit tier humor and writing. -Trump jokes. Just play the previous games. There's nothing here but woke garbage masquerading as a Larry game.

A Plague Tale: Innocence

Another Sony styled movie game.

A Plague Tale takes the format of the last of us with a main character escorting a young child throughout the story. While the graphics are nice the story itself is quite boring and ends with many questions that are never answered. Story wise the biggest issue is just how predictable everything is. New character gets introduced, new character drops a sad story about themselves, new character dies during what is supposed to be an emotional scene. These kind of tropes happen throughout the narrative, I can't remember being truly surprised by any of the writing. When it comes to gameplay it's rather simplistic and more of a walking simulator really. That's pretty bad in my book given that walking sims are a rather lazy way of indie devs getting around the challenge of actually designing a video game. In fact this game commits the cardinal sin of modern AAA titles in that what you do 90% of the time is hold up on the analogue stick to progress to the next cut-scene. There's no deviation, there's just a railroaded path for you to take. Think of the recent RE3 remake, that's what a plague tale does the entire time. The "combat" that does exist is just you hurling rocks at soldiers and one hit killing them, seriously. It was particularly amusing to see this done in one of the "boss fights" where our stronk wahmen MC defeats a fully armor clad soldier with a simple slingshot and a few rocks. There's also the industry standard bouts of wokeness, nothing quite as bad as what the AAA game industry pumps out but it's certainty there. Mostly themes such as anti-religion, white men bad, female empowerment, etc. All in all this feels like a project that should have been a film instead of video game. If you or someone you know likes mindless easy games that hold your hand and guide you to the next cut-scene than you'll enjoy A Plague Tale but if you aren't a normie and prefer games with interesting mechanics wrapped around an interesting story I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

XCOM®: Chimera Squad

If Twitter and ResetEra made Xcom.

-Pre-made cringe characters (all of which are non-white) that you have to use in your squad as opposed to previous games. -The squad's shield motto translates to "Diversity is our strength" lol. -Constant cringe themes of how we should all live with one another in one multicultural society. -Much smaller areas which means less tactics involved. All in all a woke cringe fest which I'm sure most normal people could have guessed with a simple glimpse of the screenshots.

Scorn

Walking sims aren't video games.

-4 hours long. -No gameplay aside from garbage puzzles. -No manual saves which means you frequently have to redo 10 to 15 minutes of work if you die. -No dodging, running, or jumping. Prepare to walk at the speed of a mobility scooter around enemies if you are low on health. -The gunplay that does exist is limited, clunky, and might as well not exist given that ammo is more scarce than common sense in the democratic party. -Heaps of cut content but still a 40 dollar price tag. Don't listen to the fanboys who claim that this "game" is a masterpiece. Muh atmospheric horror doesn't mean jack when the gameplay is about as interesting as watching paint dry. Sadly, given how many sheeple only care about graphics I'm sure this game will sell millions since standards are something the industry is currently lacking.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition

Bethesda's greed is incredible.

50 bucks for an 11 year old game? Wow and people wonder why the industry tries to milk gamers for every cent they have. Sheep just keep consooming regardless of bad practices. Look at all these Bethesda fanboys slobbering in the review section praising Todd and Bethesda for selling them the same game yet again at full price lol. Maybe one day they'll get a complimentary dildo for all their voracious support and will finally get to live out their ultimate fantasy of being physically railed by Bethesda instead of just metaphorically.
