Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

No amount of DLC can polish this turd.

CDPR scammed millions of people with the base game and are still trying to lure more saps into buying their progressive pandering garbage. Cyberpunk is still nothing like the promised product that was promoted years ago. There's no role playing, no branching story lines with deep choices, etc. Just more crappy cameos from Hollywood actors and political posturing to boost their ESG score.

Days Gone

Woke Garbage.

There's an interracial lesbian romance plot that the game forces on you culminating in a dinner scene where they tell you how great the gay community is and how they should be accepted. Yeah don't willingly pay money for propaganda folks.

Darksiders III Deluxe Edition

A solid entry into the series.

First off the comparisons to Dark Souls aren't really accurate. The only mechanic brought over from the Souls series is the exp loss upon death which requires you to run back and collect your souls again. Other then that the game is just a Zelda-like with some lite DMC styled combat. One improvement over the Souls series is the dodge itself. In Souls you can just roll spam every boss to avoid getting hit whereas in Darksiders 3 you have a relatively small i-frame window when dodging which makes the act more enjoyable when you pull it off. Level design is nice with shortcuts to be unlocked as you progress and secret areas to be found when going off the beaten path. Fury herself is a surprisingly enjoyable character which is amazing given she was initially portrayed as yet another stronk wahmen trying to be masculine. A trope we’ve seen hundreds of times at this point thanks to rampant feminism in the industry. Her character becomes tolerable and later entertaining when she starts to show a softer side, developing human emotion, and later acting like an actual female. Aside from one particular boss fight with basically an instant kill attack I think all the bosses were well designed and memorable. The devs dropped the ball on the RPG elements they tried to incorporate though. There’s only three stats which amount to weapon damage, counter attack damage, and health. This means that there really isn’t any builds in the game and that you will most likely just level each one equally until the diminished return makes it not worth doing anymore. Lastly in regards to the DLC I enjoyed The Void which was several interconnected dungeons with some nice puzzles sprinkled in. The crucible was pretty bland though and is nothing but an arena where you fight your way through 100 waves for prizes. Overall though this was a very good game free of many flaws that modern games have such as micro-transactions and absurd amounts of left-wing propaganda. I’d recommend it.

Kenshi

An unfinished, buggy, boring experience.

The dev had some interesting ideas I'll give them that. The limb damage system had potential, some of the crafting mechanics are inspired, the very few RPG elements that exist are ok, and the character creation is nice. That said Kenshi is just not fun to play. There's no story, no quests, no real point to anything really. This is one of those "make your own fun" games which most people use as an excuse for the developer who was too lazy or too inept to actually design a proper video game. You should also be aware that most of these "masterpiece" perfect scores are people parroting their favorite youtuber shill's opinions. No one who's played another video game in their life will award a 5/5 rating to a game where you spend at least 15 minutes real time running between locations in an empty world only to occasionally stumble across bandits who auto detect you from miles away and chase you until you die. That's not good game design and you'd have to be smoking meth to think otherwise. It's also worth mentioning that the combat system is also terribly boring and not fleshed out in the least. It's just click on an enemy and watch your character flail around for five to ten minutes until the enemy dies. The various stances do nothing and several don't work properly, in fact there's several popular mods on the nexus to fix what the dev never did. If you lose an encounter you are knocked unconscious and must wait at least five real time minutes for your character to finally wake up while enjoying the view of multiple NPC's stopping to loot your body and steal all of your belongs. This is your average Kenshi experience. If that somehow seems interesting to you then go for it but I think your time would be much better spent playing good games that weren't abandoned.

Baldur's Gate 3

GoG deleting negative reviews again

If you're a person looking for a good RPG look elsewhere, this game is really just a vehicle for propaganda and demoralization. The only entertainment it provides is the articles game journos have written trying to defend bestiality and heralding it as a brave stance to take.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Another nail in CDPR's coffin.

It's pretty poetic that a once great game that put CDPR on the map has been reduced to a hot pile of garbage. The game now mirrors this site perfectly bravo. Don't worry though loyal customer! I'm sure GoG will get around to fixing all the things they broke after they're done virtue signalling on twitter about various left-wing causes, deleting negative user reviews, and banning people from the forum that hurt the delicate feelings of the moderation staff. This is clearly a professional company after all! I mean they were just bragging a few months ago about all the "diversity" on their staff. We all know that hiring people solely based on their skin color and sexual orientation is the best way to run a company, clearly it's working wonders here.
