Albeit the glaring over done recoil is still there but, not a problem. game runs MAXED @ 1440p 60HZ, on my intel 13600K, 32GB RAM, a (Dell Micron Single fan factory under clocked POS ok it was free.) GTX1660 SUPER Video Card, ASUS PRIME B760M-A D4 MOBO, Huge 250 TDP Dual Fan Heatsink. open air Frame case. How could a person Who owns the OG Version ask for more? You can't and you shouldn't its free to those of us who owns the old game. I say Bravo Well Done.
JRPGs have been around a long time but, they do not seem to know how to make a real RPG thats truely engaging. Simlpe turn based michanics, slow slog interactioons between you and the NPCs. I had played many JRPGs in my lifetime and non stick out as a great addition to the RPG genre. But got it to plat it and thats what I'll do. It's my opinion that all the JRPG genre should have stoped with The FF Series after FF2 because it 's just rinse and repeat. To easy.
Been playing DOOM I, since the shareware versions. I even went and got a i486DX2-66 (I should have kept that comp for collectors sake) just to play DOOM, just a few days after enjoying it on my friends computer. I would carry around with me a shareware version with at all times. Yeah I was into carry-alls and ecceptible satchels in those days but, it kept me playing until the day i got the computer. I'd even bought a Gravis GamePad Pro, and demolished everyone. I was the only one to circle strafe with M/K, or Gamepad Pro, much to my friends dismay. The GZDOOM port is what i use now. I never liked the autoaim and the absense of the mouse look but when Quake I came out, it changed things in a good way. Thanks id software for providing me with an intertainment value that lives on in me to this day. And thank you for releasing it hr on GOG.
THE! Best, Zelda Feeling game I have played so far. I loved, no I love link to the past. this brings me back to the days I would play A Link to the Past 3 times a year. This is definitely going into my rotation. Controls are Great Visuals are Super @ 2560x1440 No frame drops or lag. Sound is Great A MUST BUY for any A Link to the Past fans out there.
Great Nostalgic Action. Looks better than the first versions of these game, these games that I have played in my youth. Control is great. The look and textures of these game are great. If I get the itch of Nostalgia, I’ll start these up and enjoy it to the fullest. Yars revenge was my favorite back in the day, It is now better and more challenging today than it was then.
