I have been looking for a good TB RPG to get stuck into but my search turned up mostly light-weight stuff that failed in one way or another. Then I found this GEM of a game. It's different, it's engaging, and the mechanics are a turn based fans wet dream. They took the turn based adventure and gave it a unique coat of paint and perfectly balanced it. Then they stripped away all the junk and just left the precious parts. This game you have to buy and try.
Game is great even with it's problems. Looking forward to them getting A-life working again but loving it anyhow. The atmosphere is fantastic. The whole game drools Stalker, you recognise it within the first few minutes of game play. Apart from the problems/bugs which we know will get fixed, they have 100% nailed it. Get your wallet out, worth every penny.
I have this on steam and mean to also buy on GoG. This game has dragged me kicking and screaming into the world of Warhammer. The setting, the characters, the fantastic immersive story are some of the best I have come across. All the release bugs and problems have ben fixed so no worry's there. The amount of lore I have learned through this game is tremendous, another great thing it does. and it does it in a way that makes it interesting and were you want to know more. The combat is great and opens up a vast array of tactics for you to use on the battlefield. There is so much that this game does right it would take a book to go over. Buy it even if your not a Warhammer fan, you soon will be.
Still in EA and already a brilliant game. They beat Bethesda at their own game. Really immersive and deep RPG, with a good story and characters. Combat is super fun and feels just right. One of the best things is that the game does not cage you in. You can go about everything in your own way. Just like the classics. I recommend you support these guys. They have the passion that the game industry needs right now.
There can be only one best game ever made and this is it. It's clunky, missing features glitchy graphics with iffy animations. But KCD has a heart and soul that swamps all else. You are Henry, you live and breath in a world that lives and breaths. There are a few games that try to do what KCD has done but none came close. A Masterpiece, a Classic, a Gem and many other last names. You haven't gamed until you have played this game.
