This is just trash. Can't believe they thought this was worth our time, even for free. I need a bath.
The only thing that ain't good is the hunger and aging mechanics. Outside those the game has aged well enough gameplay wise and obviously not graphically. It can be played on modern hardware without issue. Its a lot of fun and the PC version is the superior version to play so if you only ever played the bad PS1 port you need the PC version. A lot of fun, simple, and you can have two characters instead of one so if you play alone you got a friend so choose wisely who you will bring with you.
Can't CDPR who runs GOG actually cough up enough money for a decent giveaway. All these free games are bad. I get that's why they're free cause no one wants to buy them but this is just another awful game in the sea of giveaways.
GOG is notorious for giving away bad games unlike Steam and Epic. This is just one of the many. You don't need any more info. Its just bad.

The controls sure have aged like cottage cheese alongside the graphics. Most of the time is just walking around empty lifeless corridors with nothing to do. Then you engage in 90's MMORPG combat. Its just not engaging nor fun. Regretful purchase. Old does NOT mean gold.
The graphics are not working on modern hardware. It looks like textureless boxes from Blender. Unplayable.
Just non stop crashes and errors with 5 frames per second. I honestly don't get the appeal.
Having enjoyed Haunting on Genesis. This was an easy buy. For the $1.19 I spent it was worth it. Works well enough on Windows 10, only complaint is no 16:9 support or any resolution above 1600x1200. Still works just as fine.
Wanna waste $2.39? Then this is for you. Want to save $2.39? Then never do business with Good Old Scammers dot com again like I plan on doing. This is a horrible product that's not up to date to run on modern hardware.
