This game loves to crash a lot. Not to mention it proclaims I've modified the game or its corrupted whenever I play arcade mode. As for what little I could experience up to the Gray Wolf level. Its your standard generic first person shooter with nothing special going on. It has the Red Dead Redemption Dead Eye system, tons of quick time events, you die way too fast, and there's times where the plot changes and everything you did was for nothing. Making me wonder why am I even playing this game in the first place. I died all the time for it to be erased. Then there's the duels, what a terrible system. So clunky and unintuitive. You'll die every single time. The most fun part was arcade mode and uninstalling this terrible game. Just more nostalgia blinding people who think this is a good game. Shocker.
A true classic gem of a forgotten era. Back when RPGs were RPGs. Back when story telling was compelling with interesting characters and a world worth exploring. A game that knew of quality over quantity with very little padding unlike modern games. Replay value, mature topics, morals, choices, and consequences. You'll be having fun for majority of the entire game. Outside of the Warrens (sewer section). With the unofficial patch preinstalled. You'll have enhancements, cut content, and fixes to make the game even better. A time capsule of culture long forgotten to time. Despite some jank its a must play. Well worth the asking price.
Wow just wow one of the worst PC ports and games I've ever played. I can see why GOG gave this game away all them years ago. I tried to enjoy it, but the terrible UI and lack of controller support on top of the bad driving mechanics and lack of any real content/depth. Left me just wanting to go back to real good racing games like Mario Kart Wii, Daytona USA, Moto Racer, and more. I can see the potential and I'm sure the sequels are far better. But for the first game it's nothing special and not even worth getting for free if GOG ever decides to give it away again. But hey if you enjoy it, you enjoy it.
Bethesda never liked Obsidian, they hated how they made real RPGs for people to enjoy. They made the real Fallout games and the best one at that with FONV. Ever since its release this game has been a thorn in Bethesda's side. Todd Howard hates how people enjoy and prefer it to Fallout 3 and 4 which are some of the worst games of all time. If Obsidian had more time to flesh out the game and fix its issues. This would've truly been even better. But Sweet Little Lies Man doesn't like being outdone. FONV is a game well worth playing. But get the unofficial patch and some mods to fix and enchance the game further. We will NEVER get a game like this one ever again. Truly a one of a kind type of game.
GOG has the same bad CDPR port that Steam has. No surprise that CDPR would not bother fixing their mistakes of the past while trying to sell the same broken game again.
Dragon Age Origins, Star Wars KOTOR, Mass Effect, Skyrim, and Neverwinter Nights walked into a bar. Somehow 8 months later this game appeared in our world. This game lacks any creativity, originally, or anything revolutionary. It is just a generic obsolete turned based 'RPG' with no choices and graphics straight out of 2003. The controls are incredibly clunky leading to non stop fighting the camera, doing things you don't want to like stealing or attack the wrong person or attacking the ground. Not to mention it's a pain to use the camera during combat. Or even talking to your companions when you meant to move forward. The plot is so generic and unroginal you're the chosen one and must save the world from a great evil. The end. Lame. Companions are all generic and boring as well. They're also just knock offs of older Bioware companions like Morrigan, Ash, Miranda, Liara, Jacob, etc. I got to the goblin camp after hours of frustration then gave up. It is one of the most overrated garbage games of all time alongside The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, Animal Crossing New Horizons, The Last of Us, DOOM, HALO, and more. If you want a generic clunky top down PS2 point and click obsolete turn based combat game with nothing going for it. Then get the game. Not even worth a GOG Giveaway. Instant regret, want my money back. The normies keep proving that if a game is being mindlessly praised like Baldur's Gate 3. It's truly a bad game that only Sheep will love.
Not the definitive version of the original game. There's tons of graphical glitches, technical problems, and of course the port is just the PS1 game with no improvements what so ever. Also doesn't support controllers.
It's the inferior original game with all of its flaws and lack of content and features. All they did is make it run on Windows 10/11. Pretty dumb and had I known this I wouldn't have bought it. What a waste of money! GOG is really going down hill in terms of quality lately. I'll stick to the superior versions on PS1. RE2 better not be the original game missing all of the content from Dual Shock Version!
You ever wanted Minecraft and Destiny mixed together with a Fallout skin? Well this is it. Its NOT an RPG nor a Fallout game. You just shoot and loot, there's nothing else to do. The story is so bad they put Emil on the back burner so Shen could take over with Starfield after the success of Far Harbor. Even with mods Fallout 4 is just the worst Fallout game to ever exist. Even worse than Brotherhood of Steel and Tactics.
Like the title says its not a good game. Obsolete by today's standards sadly. Dated visually and hard to look at. Clunky is an understatement as the controls will never be fluid by today's norm. Boring because the writing is like modern Bethesda wrote a Bioware game. How is this a Bioware game?! Multiplayer is the way the game is built. If you play this alone you will not get far into the game as its balanced for 2-4 people at one time. Honestly wish I didn't buy this, might not buy anything else on GOG again. Too many scams on here.
