Pros: -Characters look very nice, every one of them looks like you might imagine -UI is great, press control for more info on cards, etc -Sound is great, you feel the impact of your blows -Music is fine too, I normally just turn it off, but left it on for this game -On normal (so far) I'm not getting my ass handed to me like in other rogue-type games -Speaking of types of games, this one has lots of choices as to how you play, which reminded me of older games where you'd be able to resurrect fallen team mates (optionally) -It's fun, battles feel fair and I've had teammates die (I rez them in town) -Even camping is fun but I don't fully understand it as I only just got the game Cons: -I am not sure what a few of the terms mean on the cards and the in-game glossary didn't help me, I think it's because the concepts are so well know maybe? but just not to me. So I'll have to bing up some help/guildes to work out what some of these effects mean. Still it hasn't made me suck at the game so that's a plus. -I don't understand the upgrading options particularly, I "think" a cleric should have X, but maybe it's "Y" (i.e. strength vs intellect), I'd prefer some guidance there. I played the game for about four more hours straight and the fact that it's got procedural content along with new areas on the horizon makes me feel I won't get bored with this game any time soon.

I took about a month to finish this game and that's playing 1 hour a night to 4 or more as I felt like it. The different options you have to solve a particular problem, i.e. get into a room, were very satisfying. I only broke down to read hints once or twice and instead just banged at the game for hours and hours until I finally figured out what to do (I have a lot of free time). Figuring it out on your is very satisfying of course. You can save wherever you like, including quick saves, so you can "try" something. This is a port, but in truth, most ports from playstation games I've found to be unbelievably tight game wise. I don't remember crashing even once. The visuals in the game are the best I've ever seen as it relates to a space station. There is NO problem losing yourself in this game. Having spent five hours just now on the final mission (straight, only breaking for food, etc), I am SO happy I now have the DLC to play. Thank you GOG for getting this game to sell, it's so good, I almost wish I had a playstation so I could have played it sooner, but I can't even conceive of playing with a controller, I am forever bound to a keyboard and mouse. tl;dr Get this game and enjoy, combat, stealth, puzzles, moral choices, and amazingly solid game play.

Pros: - Amazingly realistic graphics (buildings and environment) that you can dial up or down based on your computer. - Never felt cheesy or fake, you WILL feel like you're in the medieval times - VERY deep crafting system, you won't be making everything in a day - Multiple skill trees to choose from that you increase by doing things in them (ex. cutting trees) - Interesting premise to start you off, you're not the chosen one, but neither are you a no one - Quests and sub quests were engaging without detracting from immersion - You get to pick a wife or rather win her over to marry you to begin your legacy - You kill animals realistically but are not REQUIRED to do so, to get food. Also rabbits caught in traps are simply already dead when you go to retrieve them, no bunny slaughter required! And there's fishing Cons: - A tutorial would be helpful, there are guides elsewhere though, You must hit Q to bring up "choice" menu to craft a STONE axe out of ROCKS, (took 20 minutes of forum searching to get that little tip lol) - My future wife choices are not that pretty, but then again neither am I. Might be nice to pretty up the people a bit though tl;dr Get it, it's fun

Pros: If you make a mistake putting something down, you can pick it up & move it without rebuilding it. You can move any existing building too without have to re-build it. Fishing is a bit too easy but not rage inducing like another game *cough* SDV *cough* The banter of the NPCs is pleasant without being sappy. Visually the game is very easy on the eyes. It has some humor in it, mild G-rated chuckles for all. It has a nice feeling of progression. Cons: I'd personally wish for an menu interface I could see all the time versus hitting ESC to bring up the menu and close it, but I'll get use to it.

Pros: Four options for difficulty and additional granularity be on that to get the game as hard or easy as desired Decent tutorial Tips that display and stay visible until you click them away Color blind mode Procedural generation for content increasing replay value Randomly generates crewmembers and lets you reroll until satisfied Hit spacebar to pause and while paused, you’re able to read messages and plan building Creates its own auto saves that allow you to granularly roll back if you’ve made a blunder, a rage saving feature to be sure Cons would prefer To change how the crewmembers looked after they were randomly generated Can’t rotate the view The game is this great and it’s not done, do yourself a favor and try it.

I was hoping that dying light devs would give me something new to play from them until dying light 2 came out and this DLC does not disappoint. It doesn’t matter that it’s not the game hellraid that they’ll eventually produce (I assume) it’s an inexpensive add on that provides a game like hellraid that you can play *right now*. For those that love the gameplay of dying light but like a little variety this is money well spent. In fact I’ve never bought DLC faster than this.

Pros: 1) Easy on the eyes, a little like wow, color wise and character style. 2) Amusing text dialog and other light hearted additions. 3) Lots of progression, character weapon, spells, and buildings which can affect play style. 4) Different ways to play the game, multiple save slots you can optionally use. 5) Background music is nice enough that I didn't have to mute it as I do normally. Cons: 1) Not enough differences in characters in the same class i.e. all male rangers look alike; a redemption though is that while they look very similar (if not identical), they CAN have different features that allow them to behave tactically differently i.e. one might be better if an enemy melee gets on top of them than the other who'd you make hang back. 2) I'd like more info when I hover over a spell, effect, etc. 3) At least once, I accidentally used an ability when I wanted to change my mind and pick a different one, not sure how I f-ed that up actually. tl;dr It's my go to game for turn-based fun currently, playing it a lot. Thanks for putting it on GOG too, the only place I'll buy a game.

Pros: 1) It has reasonable (not overly grindy) progression for ability and levels. 2) Enough help text that I didn't need to bing up "how to do X" once (yet). 3) So many choices in how to fight, mele, range, stealth. 4) So many classes from which to choose ( I began with cleric for the self heals). 5) Building my house and construction in general is straight forward and satisfying. 6) Visuals are good, no one who has played similar games should be unsatisfied. 7) Sound is good, both for mining and background music (which I normally turn off). 8) Many different game setups to choose from: Creative, Normal (not the name), Hardmode (several). 9 Easy to save the game (one save file with a backup, haven't save scummed yet but would if I felt like it). 10) The game leads you in the beginning (assuming you let it, I did) and gets you quickly up to speed. 11) Like similar games, it will randomize on new game (a requirement for me). Cons 1) Being red green colorblind, sometimes it's hard for me to see certain blocks, but mouse over alerts me. 2) Saving this place for more. In two days game play, haven't had any bugs or crashes, but will update if I do. tl;dr It's a lot of fun, it's got a lot of features, you won't be sorry.

I have been watching this game for a while and part of what won me over is the detailed and regular communication the Dev has with his customers and potential customers. Just today, I played for about 3 hours straight and never noticed the time. The game manages to address the difficulty of space battles (the pain of dying) by providing choices of what happens after you die, restart, load save, etc. Want to be iron man, that's up to you, want to go back to save (that's me) do that. The mining is so relaxing, the sound and movement of the beams, the refining, it's all so good, and as much fun as I'm having now, the game isn't fully designated as "done", so that means more fun can be added. I have all the top name space games like this one, NMS (a decent game, a bit too fluffy and stingy on space battle missions), and others, but THIS one is holding my attention. There's so many options to choose from in what you want to be, miner, trader, pirate, law, etc, so many ships to save up to buy, same thing with the weapons and modules. Just traveling from point A to point D becomes a challenge in and of itself if you run into pirates. Do yourself a favor, if you want a space game you can loose yourself in, this is it.

I wasn't sure this game was going to be that good based on some of the reviews, however, as someone who's played games on computers for over 40 years, I can assure you that this game does almost everything right. It feels like your own personal MMO minus the monthly fees. Yes, it was built for a console first, but like Skyrim (as you can tell by the menu system), console game ports often are VERY tight and this one is no exception. The pawns really make you feel like you're in a group and you can change them out anytime you like with zero penalty and you should every time YOU level because only YOU and your MAIN pawn level with you. The questing isn't as "deep" as a game like witcher, but this game has a lot of magic spells to offer and GREAT visual effects and the landscape and dungeons are very detailed. It has mod support on nexus if you'd like to see some changes and while it's not as easy to mod as skyrim, there is enough there to make it worth taking a look. My only real complaint is the mouse aiming when trying to apply buffs on pawns and when pin point targeting a body part of a mob when you're attacking, but you can't have everything. 9/10 (minus 1 for not the best quests and mouse aiming) There is limited fast travel so the game makes traveling feel more meaningful and doesn't not trivialize the size of the map. Playing the game, knowing when to hang back if you're a caster or rush in if you're mele is something you'll pick up quickly. Thank God for GOG having this game here.
