Diablo + Hellfire

Perfect

D1 is a true classic and still a lot of fun. The GOG port helps with the resolution. Perfect!

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

Mixed Bag

The Game is fine, i had fun with it eventhough its weaknesses. The Story is great, voice acting as well. The rest is OK and repetitive at times. But the pricing really isn't fair for a game that feels like it's for mobile. I'm a little sad that CRPR didn't follow their maxim of "a lot of game for a fair price". Look at all Witcher games and their addons - compare that with Thronebreaker and you're in for a disappointment.

Divinity: Original Sin Classic

Greatest RPG in years.

I was very sceptic when I first saw footage of beta versions of this title, but after release I heard nothing but good things about the game and so, as a fan of old RPGs such as Baldurs Gate, I picked it up. People are absolutely right: the game is just incredible! Combat is fantastic, character development and itemization are spot on, and exploration in the huge world is satisfying. Also, the game gives you a lot of freedom in every way and the crafting system does things a little differently. Graphics are just fine and the atmosphere, dialogues and story-telling fit perfectly most of the time. My only minor compaints are the inventory, which is good but becomes a little exhausting to manage as soon as your characters are carrying a lot of different loot, and the design of some puzzles in which you have to guess what could work instead of getting more usable hints beforehand. RPGs such as Skyrim and the Witcher were great in the last years, but their pacing and approach is too different to really make a comparison in my opinion. All in all, I would compare the game's quality with Baldurs Gate 1&2 and I would not have thought to ever make this statement. The biggest difference to such classics aethetically is, however, that Divinity: Original Sin does not take itself as serious as the AD&D titles did, but never to the point that jokes become too silly and immersion-breaking. Buy this game if you love RPGs and turn-based combat and you will not be disappointed.
