I am going to force a headache to all fanboys here, but I think it's just a decent game with too much cryptic storytelling to it's own fault. All those blurred images, screams of insanity written on the walls and in notes found troughout the game will essentially tell you nothing of importance. It's an incredible remake, it runs well, it's been patched enough so there is no more stutters, but still for me it's a nice 7,5, nothing more.

This game is brilliant in so many ways and it has a lot of promise in it's universe, gameplay and mechanics. But so far it's more like an unpolished diamond of sorts. It's playable without much problems, but sometimes you have to find a way how to make something work. Some quest are broken and there are lot of other issues, smaller or bigger problems and glitches present. But other than that it's a wonderful sometimes even breathtaking game. If you are a survival fan, just go for it with some patience here and there. If you want a polished expirience, wait a few months and/or install bunch of mods.

I don't get it why most helpful reviews are the one not saying a word about the game and roasting it for data collection. DRM is different than data collection. This on the side, Horizon is one of the best ports from PS to PC. Great game with wonderful story, world big enough to care and not get lost in it and amazing and fun fight systems. Go for it. Do not care for nay sayers.

If you copy, copy from the best - said someone before me here in the reviews who gave 5/5 rating. But trust me... Necromunda does nothing to the same extent as Doom. Not even close. I was actually looking for something which would feel the same as Doom. I don't really mind. I was interested in Hellsinger, but I tried a demo and found out I am not much into "rythm shooters". So when I heard about Necromunda, being "the same as Doom, having a great soundtrack AND set in Warhammer universe" - I was sold! Oh boy, have I gotten terribly terribly dissapointed. Gunplay is weak, most of the arenas are boring and all I was able to see in a few hours I was in felt like it's only "half way there" at best. I wasn't able to get into it and uinstalled it after a few attempts. Only one thing I can tell game does good is that it honours Warhammer universe - but I am not a huge hardcore fan, so maybe my standards are not that high, IDK. Save the money and go for Hellsinger if you have the feel for music to be any good in it or looks elsewhere completely.

SlavicPunk is looking great on screenshots, you can see cyberpunk gopniks squatting on a ice cold parking lot, listening to some gopnik hard bass techno and it seems nice. But it's kind of a "Potemkin's village". The world is strangely dead, most objects are not movable at all, some areas are not accessible because of a invisible walls and stuff... and at this point all atsmosphere stars kind of evaporate in the air. The maps are very linnear with very small possibilities here and there where you can sneak up via air ventilation and stuff but in the end you still end up on the same path. This is a mediocre game at best with very cool setup in dystopian eastern-europe cyber space.

At my first attempt, I wasn't able to dive into this game. But I gave it a second try and boy, I'm glad I did. Story of this game is deep and fascinating although I was much more mind-twisted with legendary Bioshock's "would you kindly". Even with other game-mechanics I believe Bioshock to be a superior game, despite it's age. Maybe it's just that I had a feeling the game discourages me to fully explore Typhon's abilities as I was instructed that I will (may) loose my humanity in the process. + 20hrs+ gameplay + choices do matter (even though not as much as your last ones) + cool enviroment - Station inside and outside + mimics + lot of options to play the game (stealth, engineer, "typhon-wizard" etc.) - hardship in the beggining - only a few trully effective weapons (Shotgun, Q-beam)
