This game is something else. You'll not find many games who are so eager and succesfull in telling you something (and I don't mean just story). You can visit wonderful realms in the gaming world... but Senua is much more. Over the 6 to 8 hrs of gameplay (which seems to be not much, but it isn't, trust me) you will build a very strong bond with Senua and her hearthbreaking story. You'll help her to fight her deamons, which of you can't be sure if they are real or not. You'll see her pain - the physical and of the mind. And you'll be in awe of how much alive does she look, really. Wonderful game.

You should know that from this genre I played Robin Hood like 15 years ago and haven't played a game like this ever after that (ok, maybe XCOM, but that is still a different case). So I was a little bit nervous to pay 50€ for a Desperados 3. But it rewarded me dearly in any way possible. So if you're like me - reading all reviews and watching gameplays... believe me, just do it. You'll get strong characters, humour, plenty of variety (even though only in terms of locations - the basic idea of a mission is always the same). Sometimes you feel like you're in the dead end... but suddenly you start to see a possible path. The satisfaction after effectively clearing an area is not easily explained by word. You just need to expirience it. Trust me, that you money will be well spent with this game. And since you can get it DRM Free on GOG, there is another reason to buy it. Sometimes I just have a feeling not many AAA games are available on GOG, so let's show them we appreciate everyone who have the balls.

If you are more into polished gameplay mechanics more than a great story, substract 2 stars. You'll then get a very linear and mediocre stealth game. BUT! If you can enjoy some wonderfully created locations and you let the game flow while you hold its hand... you're in for a wonderful expirence. Graphics are breathtaking, locations as well, but even the most beautiful of them are in direct contrast with the dark story. It's almost like night and day - beautiful locations are soon "beaten" by a terrible expirience of your protagonists. The story narration is just epic, you can look forward for some nice plot-twits. I immidiately fell in love with Amicia and I was worried about her little brother Hugo all the way. Bravo!

So many bugs it hurts. -1 point for the technical state. -1 for poor storytelling at some places (the start of the game or the way you recieve new quests for example). Yet this is by far the best game of 2020. By a train. If you have a strong will and are immune to spoilers, you should wait at least a few months. At that time, I hope most of the problems will be solved and you would get an impressive game.

I disovered the Deus Ex series only a few years back and Human revolution was definitely so far the best one for me (you have to notice that I am not a die hard fan of the original game). Fullgrown RPG Expirience with great story and game mechanics. For me it's a must have. So sorry I already bought this entire series on Steam,... so at least I can totally recommend you to buy a whole series on GOG. It would be a perfect preparation for CD Project's Cyberpunk 2077.

If you started with X-COM/UFO you can't never be satisfied by Altar's UFO series, but still it's a good game, which has implemented "new" (better say modern) game mechanisms on its own. If you want UFO remake, there is no other way than just keep playing the original one.
