Many years ago, i did knew about the game but the original rogue trooper did have many issues on the past and there was less fixes on pc version. When i did knew about this redux, it completely changed what i've did see instead of the original game. After installing the game, developers fulfilled what they promised in this redux, it works for all areas of current hardware and hey, it's very well updated, I was able to play it with kb+m without needing a controller, i did see comments about bad controls, when i progressed until finishing the campaign....gameplay is superb and controls is all good, thats why i did mention first, it's very well updated and fixed the game. First of all, props to developers who made it wonderful and playable game, doesn't matter if its short game, its really fun to play. I'd recommend for those want to play and having fun if its pure action and good story, this game might be for you, also its bit challenging too.
Although the game is short, it's very super fun and also the story is unique and the gameplay very simple. It's relaxing and fun to play. I totally recommend for those who want to enjoy the controller quietly.
Many months ago, i've wanted this game for one reason; i did watch this game on twitch. After playing a bit, for real feels like a mix of Quake + Hexen + Doom, but...people forgot something important, a forgotten game which its Heretic, because of the total enemies, and items. About the save system, seems literally a good idea and unique which that nothing like this has ever been seen in previous games of Id software and 3D Realms. The game is tremendously challenging for those who like and have finished the classic MSDOS games that i mentioned earlier for the FPS. I'll promise to edit my review as i play and finish the game more thoroughly.
After finishing the game yesterday, sometimes the game does have less crashes due to the small optimization of the game, but for me this game has few uses of stealth instead of more action. For those who like stealth, i don't recommend this one, but if u like more action, this is the right game.
I've been recommended from friends of discord last year, but for real i've wanted to play this game, i totally recommend this game, because kinda feels a combination with Quake meets Blood, but more terror, the quality for real feels like Quake using the weapons but different (this time no nail gun), also i get the idea of other items like the diamonds or coins as armor. I've wanted more episodes, but with 3 episodes it's enough to pass the best of the game, see the secrets and also the "mini" bosses that surprised me a lot. If we could back to 90's, this game could be accepted with Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior being one FPS more classic.
I was surprised about this game, i thought no one did remaster this game because of several problems or issues to play this original game on windows 10. Playing this game, feels like a big comeback how much i've missed this game, thanks to the developers for reviving this game, because the game is really unique for his story and the gameplay. The game itself its really optimized and playable with controller without issues. Its really great game, i can recommend this game for those wanted to play this game!
I wanted to play more FPS games, but in a forum some time ago, someone recommended this game to me and despite the difficulties and fixes with the previous computer to play this game. Several years later, i see that XIII is on this GOG platform, i could finally play this game with windows 10 (with compatibility mode), when i started this game, i returned to the nostalgia of the 2000s with the resolution (which i couldn't change it) and play with various weapons and levels and also with items that can be used, which is important to pass several levels. The funny thing, i never knew that this game would be related to a comic, for something it was a good idea for the developers to put onomatopoeia in the game, it's very fun to do it despite being "inside a comic". I recommend this game, since it was never recognized by other people and by other means, the game is very fun.
As a kid, i wanted to play Turok with the PSX console, but it never happened, it was exclusive with N64. Several years later when i learned that Turok would be relaunched by steam and on this platform. When i bought it when it was on sale, it's just how i wanted this game several years ago, playing with the wonder of the game. As i passed and progressed a lot with the game, i never knew that this game would bring respawns, i thought it might be a bug with the N64 (I know it was ported to PC) and in the end i managed to finish it. I recommend this game for those who are FPS fans, consider it as a challenge for u, despite the strange respawns error.
Okay, on this version, runs so great with my pc currently with Windows 10. With this game, i feel like playing Duke 3D again but different, this time with a different theme, other characters and also fighting with aliens. I admit that other reviewers mentioned that the levels are difficult, but in reality for me, it's simply a challenge to achieve and finish. This game, no matter how graphic, is just fun to play with various weapons.
Well this game, what can i say after i have completely finished the game? With fresh supply, the gameplay improved a lot after the original game that couldn't run well with my computer previously years ago. I totally recommend this game, which offered a pleasant experience going through levels that brings a feeling with Heretic and Doom.
