Best played on gamepad

... as they warn you within the first few screens. And for a good reason, since keyboard controls are two things - atrocious and unrebindable. You can't actually rebind any controls whatsoever, keyboard or otherwise, so that's one star less from me. Past that though, I really liked this game. It's very easy to pick up and learn the ropes, and I really love the "painted" look it has. For the asking price it's definitely a recommend, and if you don't mind having to plug a gamepad to fully enjoy it, it's be a nobrainer.

Leap of Faith + Official Walkthrough

A fair warning

So, I got this game on an impulse, shortly afte refunding the pharaoh remake, because I was tired, and wanted to try something new. And I feel somewhat betrayed by that game. Yes, by a game I bought on an impulse, that was supposed to be my guilty pleasure, because hell, why not. Without going into spoilers territory, the game is amazing. Even though it sometimes strikes a blue note, it's generally filled to the brim with good vibes. The characters are believable, likeable and relatable. Even though slightly oversexualized and horny in some cases, they are not just sex dolls waiting to be used by you - they have their own stories, their backgrounds, their quirks and flaws. The characters have a good time together, and so you do, with them. Then there is that other thing. At one point you do get a warning. That the next scene will touch on some dark topics, so if you're "sensitive" to this kind of material, you could skip ahead. I admit, I gave it some thought, having a fair few things on my plate myself, but dismissed it, going "nah, I'm a grown up, I'll leave". I admit I just wanted to get more of the story as soon as I could, and well... I got more than I bargained for. So, please DON'T be like me. If you decide to give this game a chance (wholeheartedly recommend it), and get to *that* stage, if you are not in any good headspace, PLEASE DO consider that warning, DO consider skipping ahead, And PLEASE DO give it more time and thought than I did.
