Transport Fever 2

Well Done Game But...

Great Graphics and Audio, bought all the DLCs, has enough material to keep you entertained for days. Biggest drawback are the numbers & calculations, it seems I am paying for everything twice and then some. A vehicle purchased cash is being deducted again every month (not maintenance) and any other expenses like building. Putting the player's budget into negative eventually. IT'S ALREADY PAID FOR ! I know this was a copy from the old TDD game, but did they have to copy this major "accounting" flaw ??? You recover from negative in 2-5 years but then vehicles start going bad. As for vehicles, not a large variety and by design older models disappear altogether, nothing futuristic past 2025. USA vehicles largely missing, overhead cabs stopped being used ~1980s. There is an overall emphasis on what China is using. The customization is great and it includes a map editor. Not the worst game but it could've been GREAT & maybe Perfect. Overall a good game for the price that holds my interest in building & managing transport networks.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Interesting Story, but crashes.

Started the story, CTDs soon enough at the helicopter ambush with DX-12 on & 4xMSAA. So I switched to DX-11 & MSAA off, lagged into oblivion, landing jump near helicopter, did not have counter on but possibly 10-15FPS. Volumetric Lighting detail always off, so sandstorm & steam were not the issue. Later down the game, DX-11 presented an MDM.EXE error. Switched back to DX-12, it is visibly much faster and not laggy at all, got MDM.EXE error again, when I got to the TF-29 HQ. Many of the fancy graphics are OFF not low (as I hate some of them like motion blur & depth of field). I don't know what else to do, the autosaves on the game are not on timer but checkpoint. Another bad console ported game to PC. I don't use mods, this is a clean install & clean run, no launcher.

Styx: Shards of Darkness

Still in the Shadows of Thief III

If you played Master of Shadows, you know the Character, more cutting edge & backstabbing jokes. The goal maybe different, but the play style pretty much the same. Loses 2 stars for the NO FLOOR design flaw of the later game levels and impossibility to beat final boss.

Styx: Master of Shadows

Plays in the Shadows of Thief III

Wonderful idea to select a Goblin to play in the shadows of Thief III. Great story, graphics & audio, buttttt.... it Hangs on the Idea of NO FLOOR gameplay. Tutorial training is fine, but in the later levels, it comes to a point where you quicksave before every jump. I find this a detrimental design flaw in both Styx games. Loses 2 stars for that. The game that could've been The Gollum, but never played out that way. Wonderful & humorous innuendos & conversations, makes this character love-able. Not regretting the purchase, overall a good game and experience, but could've been more.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

Another Woke Game Impossible To Finish

You already feel the permeating wokeness of Female leading roles & narrators throughout the game. Then the Good is Bad, Black is White, Elves are Barbarian Cannibal Druids. You get used to the turn based system, it's a combat system done in a dozen games before including the X-Com series. High gear stats oriented like World of Roguecraft, heavy penalties for not having a Shield, so picking a 2-hand weapon for a fighter is a BAD idea. You can only travel with 3 other NPCs, you're in a fight for your life all the way through, so you have to stay in Easy mode. However, I found the ending impossible. All the companions leave you, I hired an undead companion as a Merc.. In the final series of battles, the Merc. was stronger and survived, thus winning the game & prize, unintended, without purpose, without controls. The game can be long or short, depending how fast you move through the maps and accomplish the essential quests. Second star earned for the work put into the graphics, play system & overall design. Otherwise, I would stay away from this POS.

Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™

Lord of the Rings Inner Stories.

What the movies never told you, but in the chain of events written in the original books. Plays like Assassin's Creed, but in the realms of LOTR. Lots of action, character development & taking over castles. There are a lot of hours to play here and DLCs contain 2 more characters to take through the realms. You may get bored of Orcs & Urukai but you'll put it down now & pick it up later. The ring is calling your name. ;-) Cons - came back to it after I rescued it from Steam, thank you GOG, another restored title. Must reset your GPU driver profile for this game or you get CTDs on startup or other crashes. For me it was turning off Crossfire & OpenGL, might work for you, might have another setting misplaced. Online play never held any interest for me, so I will skip any comment on that.

Two Point Hospital

Outstandingly Humorous.

I think it is based on Theme Hospital, but improved in every way and then some. I spent countless hours building the hospitals and chuckling along the way. I am still not finished yet and it's hard to part with a complete work of art, to start a new hospital on a new level, I'm on the 5th one now, I think. Anyways, great game, great graphics, great jokes, highly replayable.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed: Dressed to Skill Edition

An International Mayhem in the Cold War.

You're walking through the 60s, cults, drugs, music & more. Destroy More Humans in this classic & humorous game. Yes, it does have a happy ending, despite foreign interference.

Destroy All Humans!

A humorous walk through 50s USA.

If you like Destroying Humans, you can't miss this one. For all it's shortcomings, and the cartoon graphics only add to the humor, it's a great, enjoyable and replayable game. (KGB included) Cheese it with the bosses and you'll glide by without thinking. And if you don't, there can always be a Crypto-139.
