It is visual novel without gameplay. Just click next text. If you buy a comics you can pick a page, also graphic and plot will be better. Not much to talk about as player have no agency in this. Warewolf or Coteries are a bit better. You can pick options there, but not here.

This is the better of the VTM Chronicle stories. A haunting score and actually decent writing.

A fun, gothy neo-noir
I've gotten a lot of enjoyment from this one. While very consistent with the themes and style of V5, to me it brings to mind a late British Invasion comic (something from Jamie Delano, Warren Ellis or the like): part licensed fiction, part snapshot of its times, part download of the writers' psyche. What it lacks in polish, it makes up in character - that kind of thing. And it doesn't hurt, of course, that it's all wrapped up in great, cleverly used art and an awesome, atmospheric soundtrack (go check it our on Spotify or wherever). Oh, and yes, I agree with the other reviewers that it's more of a novella than a game, although constructed in a way as to not show you everything within one playthrough. YMMV, but personally? I'm struggling not to replay it right away.

Even darker than CoNY
The follow-up to Coteries of New York features the same (fantastic) visual aesthetic, an even more awesome soundtrack and a very, very dark story. Where CoNY offered different characters and starting points for the story and ended up in a linear climax, SoNY goes in the opposite direction and starts linear, opening up different paths along the way. What's very interesting is that the decisions you make are not blunt "choose between a or b" where you know exactly that it's going to influence the ending. But instead any choice can lead to your character receiving a trait which will then lead to different decisions along the way. That makes the game more unpredictable and fun. The characters are great as usual and the graphics and soundtrack help create a captivating and intense atmosphere. Just be aware that some of the possible paths are really dark. The first ending I got was really heavy - and, at least for me, quite emotional... Absolutely recommended if you like visual novels and the atmosphere that VtM is known for :)

Walk through the Shadows of...
Your live or New York. Its a nice Visual Novel, and with 5-7 hours playtime. the decisions are intresting and the story is good. Some decisions and wayes could be easily make deeper, more diverse in possible solutions. The Art is awesome and really gets you in the atmossphere of the game. The Soundtracks is well mad, takes you on an trip to the dark corners of new york and the mindset of the chracters. For 10 euro it is a good and entertaining game but like most VN doesnt have that many replay value after the second time. Still would buy it again. Only 4 stars because it should and could give you some more time with the main caracters.
