Exsurgent: For those looking for additional information, there has been some discussion about this in these threads:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/preorder_weird_west_b1aa6
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_that_treat_gog_customers_as_second_class_citizens_v2

Here's the only quote from someone on the dev team I could find (from the Weird West Discord):

"Same time and day for all platforms (except GoG which is later in April cause... its not done yet :P)" (from Julien Roby, Exec Producer)

We've also tried pinging Julien Roby directly on the Discord to get some proper information on what went wrong, but so far, it's silence from the dev team.
It's not done yet is a poor excuse when the game is already published on ever other platform. Do better GOG.

Sometimes I miss the 90s and 00s when games were sold on CDs/DVDs.

NijinskyV: My WW2 era kupuna had his own GI acronym for situations like this: SNAFUBAR. To which we'd add: c'est la vie. ((;--))

kingholify: I must be an idiot but I do not understand this sentence at all ;)
Well, NijinskyV says under his avatar, that he is from Polynesia and kupuna means grandfather or other relative or close friend from that generation in Hawai'ian langugage and I guess in other polynesian lagugages as well. SNAFUBAR is obviously a combination of the WW2 era US Army slang acronyms SNAFU (systems normal, all fucked up) and FUBAR (fucked up beyoond all repair). The latter allegedly stemming from GIs hearing Germans saying "furchtbar" (means horrible in english) and then creating an acronym around that. "C'est la vie" is frenach meaning "that is life" in english. He is from French overseas territories after all.
Sad that it's not released at GOG yet, but I'm very happy there will be a GOG version.

Probably having trouble removing the DRM.
They should talk to one of the pirate groups that has already cracked it lol.

Quick update on Weird West: It's now been almost two weeks since release and there's no sign yet of the GOG version. Also, according to this RPS article, they've just started a limited-time community event which GOG users are missing out on.

Personally, I think time-limited events are a blight upon modern video games, but it's still telling that they're adding content which we'll likely never get to see because we're on the "wrong" platform.
As posted on their discord. Based on the comment appears those time-limited events are the issue for the gog release. Though I thought the whole point of Galaxy was the handle information like this. Wouldn't know since I don't use Galaxy though.

Also part of my assumption for why Spelunky 2 never showed up on GOG.
