Really want this game on GoG, but the Switch may become the big winner on this one soon.
Playing on Switch is great, but creating your own maps is much more comfortable on PC.

mounet: launch : Q1 2019

Soon it's too late
It is now.

Nosrick: It should only be a week or two.
Sigh, I wished. I don't know why it's taking so damn long.
steam has better anti priacy ( even though its not perfect ) so they probably keep it exclusive for a while on steam for sales reasons.

If that were the reason, then nothing except perhaps ancient software would be on GOG. No, I think the reason is something else.
I just wish to know how soon is "soon"... is anyone at GOG or Chucklefish able to be a bit more specific????

A bunch of games come to steam first before gog, so unless steam are paying them for that, then its probably because of sales

Your reasoning is almost certainly correct, but then... why put it also on GOG with a "soon" label indefinitely? Isn't that misleading at the very least?
yes, although probably saying something like, "coming some other time", doesnt seem good for advertising

If this is really the case, in their shoes I would have just waited before announcing the game for sale on GOG until I was ready to actually deliver it there.

At least that wouldn't give false hopes to people.

But it does keep the "why did gog reject Wargroove" hate posts to a minimum, and places the blame for the delay squarely on the developers instead of gog.
They answered that they don't have any news :(

Would love to get this on GOG, not Steam... "Q2 2019" is a little wishy-washy, though.
Games saleability have short lifespans.

Many potential GOG buyers have already gotten Wargroove on Steam to enjoy the PvP while it is hot.

The DRM-free enthusiasts are still waiting to get this on GOG, but some of us might turn down this game for another similar one which is actually available.

Three months (or four, or five, or whatever it takes) is too long to wait for a new game, at least willing to pay its full retail price. You are wasting your window of opportunity.
