Now that they put "Q3" for the release timeframe, I hope they understand that *that* is going to end in less than 45 days. With still no info whatsoever from them regarding any kind of advancement for the GOG release, I am starting to consider to just remove this from my wishlist and forget about its existence entirely.

..and meanwhile, on another online store this game is currently 40% off...
Now not anymore in the store!

"We regret to inform you that Wargroove will not be released on GOG.COM.

Together with the publisher, we launched the coming soon page back in February with the best intention of delivering Wargroove as soon as possible, especially knowing how many of you were eager to play it. Despite continuous efforts on both sides, releasing the game in a way that we believe would be satisfying to the entire GOG community, was not possible. This is why we mutually made a very difficult decision not to offer the game and we will be removing the coming soon page as a result."

How to say it... I'm feeling being fooled around. I've been waiting for the game and I've decided to wait patiently to get it here on Gog instead of elsewhere because I want to be able to play my games independently from the availability of an online service -- especially when said games do not have a huge "multiplayer appeal" like this one.

Elsewhere in the past weeks I could have bought Wargroove for 40% off the normal price but I still decided to wait... after all if they opened the Gog store webpage for the game, it would have been published eventually, right? Now as a reply to that, and after pushing the Gog release of Wargroove from end of Q1 to Q2 and then to Q3, the developer said that it's been all a big joke.

Well Chucklefish, let me tell you something: I'm positively, absolutely DONE with buying your games, here and elsewhere... and I'll be wary to buy anything done by others but still published by you.
I suppose that the multiplayer was not functional for whatever reason and they decided to not realse the game without it. I say this cause there was such a problem with Tooth and Tail where it was released without the cross platform Steam - GOG multiplayer. Since there weren't that many players on GOG the developer had to give out Steam keys so the buyers can find themselves people to play with. It wasn't until much later that the cross platform multiplayer got implemented. At least I don't see any other reason not to release the game on GOG given that both GOG and the publisher were willing to do so. Which kind of sucks cause I don't really care about the multiplayer.

Oooooh men , that's bad news ... like other i've been waiting for get it on GOG . And then nothing to get ...

It's hitin' hard ! This game look so cool but with this kind of publishers i dont want to give them some money , but i keep want to give some to the dev of this game .

Anyone has a solution ?!
So the moral of this story is don't buy Chucklefish games. They do this constantly, they'll happily trumpet positive announcements from the roof tops but bad news will result in complete radio silence. To this day on their own forums they still haven't announced that the Gog version is cancelled. Anyone who dares to ask questions on said forums is shamed by the moderators and attacked by the fantards filling the thread with toxic filth in hopes of getting the Op suspended or banned.

So, they made us wait all this time long for nothing. Just great. I could have got it on Steam at -40% discount like tudhalyas said, but I prefered to keep waiting for the GOG release, just to find that it has been cancelled and the store page removed.
Saw it on Steam the other day and thought I'd check the GOG page, and it didn't show up in search. Then I Googled it, and... yeah. :-/

I guess I'll Follow it on Steam, but I would've paid like 10-15% off here on GOG. Now I guess maybe I'll wait for 50% or whatever, idk...
