Forsaker: Good news for you people who got their statue broken

http://www.en.thewitcher.com/community/entry/41

they will replace them and give you some freebees to compensate

edit: bah Namur posted it while i was typing my message
Regardless, I had no idea of this & will certainly be using it, my Geralt's nose is chipped good, the scuffs aren't a big deal but, it is chipped in more than a few places & I was not happy with the banged box & 'shredded inside' velvet lined tray. My gawd CDPR I didn't expect this either, good for them & my bust.

There's a bug with the hyperlink in the email adress where it adds an additional letter T making it invalid.
geraltscultpture@thewitcher.com (notice the redundant T in sculpture)

Instead of clicking the hyperlink or copy/pasting type the adress manually:

+1 or whatever that means here. Some shots of the joy when opening my CE for the first time. Haven't heard a response yet, but I'm sure they got a lot of these after seeing the inside of mine, & like that poor guy who's bust was broken off at the ponytail, sheesh.

SlackerSupreme: If it doesn't have a T-Shirt or poster in it, not interested.

Or a bobblehead ;)

yayodeanno: Publishers only give away t-shirts to the gaming media people, so they can act cool and special on Youtube, never to us common mortals, didn't you know that?
I got a t-shirt with my soul caliber IV CE, and I consider myself a common mortal... :P
question : re bust material

is it what i think it is,a soap stone/resin moulded figure and unpainted or mould dyed ?

and are the coins metal ?

Red_Avatar: Mine was mailed and took 10 days and arrived in pristine condition. The reason they get damaged, is because of poor packaging, that's it. You could toss the darn thing around if it was properly wrapped because that's what happens when it's being mailed across long distances. Don't blame CDP, blame Amazon. When I ordered Fallout 3 from them (with the statue), the statue was broken, the lunch box heavily dented - because they had jammed it inside just a cardboard fold thingy.
I'm with you on this one. Don't blame CDP, blame whoever ships it. CPD is making sure if anyone has damage and can provide a snapshot will get a replacement. I think that's very fair.

While I didn't buy the collector's edition ( I just want the art-book) , I did order the Fallout 3 Collector's Edition from Amazon also - and behold, my bobble-head was broken off from it's stand. The lunch box was fine on the outside but the box it came in had pretty much zero protection. Later on I bought the same exact thing on eBay as a gift and asked the seller to please use extra packing. Box arrived with all contents completely intact.
I'm personally feeling pretty loved by CDPR.

I pre-ordered the CE November 5, 2010 from Amazon. My Geralt bust has some issues where he actually looks like he's been in a fight and forgot to clean up afterwards. =D

I hadn't gone back to Amazon due to the perceived hassle involved. I'm glad I need not worry about them sending me another injured Geralt bust.

Sometime after I had ordered the CE version I then pre-ordered the digital from GOG to more directly support CDPR.

I am the PROUD owner of 2 TW1 and 2 TW2.

ROCK ON you guys! =D
