Save made from inside tram.

is this a new starting save, or the one made at the beginning of that playthrough that has resulted in the diving issue (much) later?

//ok, let's try this - you mac guys, please pack up ALL your saves and share them if you can.

That was a new starting save. Unfortunately, the earliest save I have from my glitched playthrough is on the Rickenbacker.
share it anyway, if it's not a problem.
Earliest save I have from glitched playthrough. www.sendspace.com/file/xyouom

However, I can confirm that my playthrough was glitched prior to this point.

I'll start another playthrough, keeping regular saves up until my earliest opportunity to submerge in liquid, which I believe is in Hydroponics, and see if the glitch returns.
that'd be nice. will be keeping an eye on this topic.

//funnily enough, the rick save is ok.

Here's the whole suite of saves from the Med/Sci deck. Engineering will take me longer.

That was a dead end. I thought there was some place in hydroponics to completely submerge. I guess not.

FWIW, here are the saves for the Engineering and Hydroponics decks.

no corruption so far.

and yeah, funnily enough, there are only four places in the entire game where you can fully submerge - the Recdeck swimming pool, and three flooded areas in Body of the Many (two of them cannot be skipped). that's probably why they didn't bother with a thief style oxygen bar.

Since there are so few places to completely submerge in the game, I didn't even think there was a problem. I jumped into the pool on the recreation deck and died. I figured dying in the water was by design and had something to do with my character's experimental implants, the water being irradiated, or in the case of the last levels, the water not being water at all, but being stomach acid. Imagine my surprise when I got to the last level and I can't even progress any further.

I had been wandering around in circles trying to find the damn membranes before I checked a walkthrough online. They said I had to go into the water to find them. Now I know I'm dealing with a game breaking bug.
Upload a savegame to sendspace or similar if you want it fixed.
zip ALL your saves, upload to mediafire/sendpace or similar and post the link.
Hopefully if I get an opportunity this weekend, I'll create an account on one of those sites and upload the save games.

I thought I would be more upset for some reason that this happened to me after playing through the entire game... but I seemed to have mellowed out as I've gotten older.
sendspace does not require a registration.
Hi, I'm having the same problem. Running Mac version, un-modded as well.

The forum is telling me I can;t post links. How do I provide a save game? :)
