IronArcturus: That's too bad. Do you think we may see an update in February?
It's April and no update so far and no word that I've seen as to when we might expect it. ;o/ I was pretty excited about this but now I'm getting disappointed about it. I don't mind waiting, but not hearing any feedback or updates about the progress of the DRM-free update is discouraging. ;o/

I did some googling and can't even find any information as to whether or not they're even still working on this, or if it has just been silently discarded. ;o/

I wish the developers would just give us an update and tell us anything at all. Don't even need a release date, just "yes, it's still being worked on and it definitely is going to happen" would be nice. It is 10 months now since it was released on Steam and I'm not feeling like I'm considered an equal customer just because I bought it here now.

Maybe they decided to cancel it and just don't want to say anything fearing people being upset about it, who knows. I'd rather know than be left hanging in the dark though. A concrete decision and good communication beats leaving things up in the air and people in the dark in terms of customer trust IMHO. I'm still looking forward to it but losing my enthusiasm as each month passes.
If you look at this post the devs finally responded back!

They said they were going to focus on the Mac and Linux versions for Steam first, and they've been available for some time now it appears from the Steam store:

If I would have known we wouldn't get the update on GOG, or that we'd have to wait a very very long time to get it here, I would have bought it on Steam instead probably, but I already bought the game here on GOG anticipating the update. Perhaps they could put some humour in the GOG update that jokes around about the delays or something special for us for waiting, kind of like how Duke Nukem jokes about the delay in the game's release in Duke Nukem Forever? We'll see I guess. Hopefully anyway.

Ah cool, that's exactly what I wanted to see - any word at all about progress. Glad to see that they responded and that it is still happening, that alleviates some of my concerns now.

P1's updated have been submitted to GoG and should be with soon.

We're just finishing up the Workshop updates for P2 on Steam, and after that we'll work on getting the GoG version ready as that will be the last of the major P2 updates for now.

This may be the weird place to ask this, but will this Postal 1 update be available to those who own it on disc via Fudge Pack or Postal 10th Anniversary Collection?

Thanks a bunch for the POSTAL 1 update Toploader, looking forward to going through that one again, it's been 15 or more years since I completed it the first time. :) Thanks also for the status update, much appreciated!

Now back to anticipating the Postal 2 update. :)

any chances of getting the missing content which Postal 10th Anniversary Collectors Edition contains, to GOG? To be more specific: "four classic user mods (including A Very Postal Christmas and Eternal Damnation)"
Hopefully some progress is being made with the update being brought to GOG. I really want to play the game again, but I refuse to play it in it's current state again (I got to a part in the expansion where I died during a cinematic over and over again; Even putting in cheat codes for God Mode did nothing to prevent it). Plus the AI acting bizarre, not getting down when I shout to get down, etc. It'd be nice to play with these issues fixed like I see on the patch notes.

Toploader, give a rough estimate to when it will be out?

Sadly not, but we'll make sure the new 1415 GoG version of P2 gets all the same mods updated and we'll make the download links available.

I really hope within a month or so, for the Windows build at least. Lord knows for the Mac build though, but the Steam version lacks this update too.

I hope the update to Postal 2 will arrive soon!
GOG Galaxy support would be cool once available.

We'll look into that when we know more about it ourselves, and what we can to to improve the experiance.

FYI, our lead coder is on the case with the GoG build of P2 now, so won't be too much longer until the updated build hits.

Sweet, I'm seriously needing to go Postal soon in a new way like never before, please hurry! Hehehe :)
On it! Testing it right now to make sure it's all good now we've ripped out the Steam API's ect.

Is it true that this update includes stuff that steam users got a year ago though? I don't want to sound antagonistic or anything but treating the people who buy the drm-free version as second class citizens like that is really unfair.
