I bought a 2nd copy on Steam and the download yesterday was about 24GB. I had an issue at the start where it looked like the game just hang but it didn't. I was able to start a new campaign, create my Char and begin the adventure. after 2 hours of gaming I need to make break and safed the game. After returning I tried to load my last progress but could only see cryptic C# exception error messages. Owlcat promissed to not leave their office until this bug is fixed and at around 10pm Steam downloaded a freaking small patch. Since then the game just runs fine.
I don't know why the game isn't available for Mac here on GOG.

---
Funny is, that my Steam progress is also visible on GOG (except for playing time) :-)

Wait, so is the saving/loading bug fixed and patched, and it's just a matter of GOG uploading the actual file? I had thought the dev team were still fixing it.

They (Owlcat) did it yesterday at around 10pm - on Steam.

well that's good news, i suppose. but i don't want to pay double, and i don't want to go through the hassle of getting a refund, so i guess i'm still waiting. eh, there are worse things.

I'm running GOG Galaxy on my Mac with Mojave and it's running just fine. Could be localized to your install. Maybe uninstall it, then go to user Library (not System Library) and go into the Prefs and delete the com.gog plist file and trash it. Then try to reinstall GOG Galaxy.
Thx for advice Zargonin, but it's a fresh install (didn't had Galaxy installed before and i just installed it yesterday :/)

Hope i will be able to dl the installer if i still have this problem

unsure why GOG doesn't have it up yet... Steam has had the fixed version up for hours now. GOG support has no ETA on the Mac release, just that "it should be up later today" Thinking of a refund but who knows how long that process will take vs just waiting a few more hours for GOG to put up the installer files for Mac...

still worth trying to delete the .plist files and reinstall it. Also at least the Mac version still isn't availabel yet so you can't even get it if Galaxy WAS working *sad cry*

I got in touch with support, and they said the Mac version would be released today. I'm hopeful, but if it's not handled today, I'm going to politely ask for a refund. I'll keep you guys updated.

I got the same response, no eta but sometime today... I don't get why its not available yet since Steam has had the updated version since last night. If the Dev build is available it shouldn't take much for GOG to get it to us. I too will be askign for a refund and going to Steam if it's not up today.
I think the devs finished the mac save fix earlier, it just took until about 10 pm last night to get it up on steam.

And yeah, unfortunately getting a refund in order to switch distributors isn't an option for those of us who backed this on kickstarter :/

UPDATE: Gog now shows that I can download the Linux version (despite the fact that the dev said they finished that patch after the Mac one), so what the heck is going on?

Best guess? We are watching them upload in real time, and they just did Linux first. The Linux version has changed twice since I first saw it, so I am guessing Mac is next.

They also said they'd post status updates on twitter, so... eh, would've liked any information about this. I guess I'll check back after lunch.
It's up!
It is.
And now it's gone again. Son of a--oh, it's there. Sorry. (I'd delete if I could find a place to do so)
