Simple, I don't hear any music when i play the game. Everything else works fine and I have tried to change some of the settings, but nothing seems to work and I can't find any solutions to this problem. I use a Windows 10 machine(With the latest updates) if that is any help.

Hi StAnger,

There was an issue with music after accessing a menu (which was solved in a game upate by GOG), but in your case it seems that it's not working from the start. In olcfg.exe, have you tried using a different sound driver?

I tried "Multimedia Sound", but that didn't help and with "Aurelia A3D" I just got a black screen. Is there any other options that I have missed that could help?
Same issue here.
Windows 10 x64.
After updating from the Anniversary Update of Windows 10 I have experienced no music in the game :(

I guess that must be the problem. I saw from earlier post that the game worked fine before the anniversary update, but you, me and probably enpy who played after the update seem to have the same problem.
I decided to write to support about it so they can investigate the issue I guess.

Have the support given any respond on the issue? Like if they are working on fixing it or giving any tips on possible solutions?
Yeap same here, I only just installed the game though so I donno if it would have worked fine before Windows 10 update or not. The game itself runs great, and sound effects and everything is there just No Music, which is a shame because from what I remember the music is awesome in this game and it really adds to the atmosphere.
Same here. I finished the game before the update and the music worked. Just checked now again and it doesn't work.
Got a reply from GoG-support saying that they are aware of the problem and are working on it. So hopefully there will be a fix or a solution available soon.

I don't know what is causing this problem, but I found a provisory (I hope gog fix this) solution:

Just change the name of the OLWIN.EXE . Write anything else over it and initialize the game from this executable (or change the shortcut).

The same problem is occuring with Settlers 3, Jedi Knight on Windows 10, but I don't know why. Maybe it has to do with the Registry of these games, dunno.

Well, try this for yourselves and hope you enjoy this game with its awesome soundtrack.

You are so right, IT REALLY WORKS! I didn't believe it until I tried it. Thank you so much. The soundtrack makes playing this game so much more immersive.
